Hotel was under a bit of a Reno. Our room was Ok, albeit very sparse on amenities i.e. hand towels, Kleenex etc. Not sure if bathroom was just renovated but grout on tile work needed a good clean. Staff seemed to be doing triple duty in the mornings.

Great location when visiting Manchester. Quite lively area but thankfully not much outside noise experienced. Great rooms and superb customer centred staff

All was well until you try to watch anything on tv using phone (cast) or internet - tv doesn’t connect on internet (room 219). My view is the street and it can be loud on night time because theres a pub nearby but it settles down. Room is clean and very comfortable bed and pillows. The temperature of the room were just right. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe staying at this hotel.

Ideally situated for oxford train station. Walking distance to arndale shopping centre the hotel had everything you needed and the room was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable. Only slight negative was that at times due to location was noisy but i would stay there again. I thought it represented good value for money with breakfast included

Okay for a budget option

This is a very basic hotel that obviously hadn't been refreshed in recent times, but price wise it's an affordable option in Manchester. The staff were helpful though. I like Ibis as a chain option but I probably wouldn't stay at this one again.

The property had clearly seen better days. The public areas were grubby and tired, giving a run-down impression. The room itself was reasonably clean but showed obvious signs of age and neglect. Above the television, there was visible damp and water damage. The wall separating the bathroom from the main room was curved, yet the door was straight, meaning it couldn’t close properly. The main door to the room wouldn't close without being slammed. From a major chain of hotels, I expect better

The Television volume is shocking you are struggling to hear it and especially when the ambulance and police come speeding past, FORGET IT YOU'VE MISSED HALF THE TV PROGRAM

Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful especially Eve, one young male receptionist, sorry didnt get his name, and the night manager. Breakfast was good, everything available and hot. Quiet so was able to get a good nights sleep. 15 minute walk to town centre and railway stations so very convenient.

Great staff

Great for theatre. Twin beds suitable for friends and wet room with good wheelchair access. Staff alerts and extremely helpful with doors and assistance needed as not hidden behind big reception desk in foyer. Very practical hotel set up.

This is the first time that I have stayed here. I was there for Pride which was in walking distance to Canal Street. Check in was swift and I was in room 716 which was on the top floor. The room was airy and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again when I next stay in Manchester.
