STELLAs welcome was wonderful. This is one of the best hotels me and my husband have stayed in. We travel a lot and always filter for 4 or 5* hotels with 9+ rating in reviews. This hotel was beautiful, relaxed and luxurious. Fantastic in service and facilities. Great location in the middle of the city. Comfortable bed, quiet room, great shower and lush towels with molten brown toiletries, clean room with plenty of space to relax. Thank you Stella for such a warm reception and Andrew for getting our stored luggage before we left. We hope to be back soon :)

The hotel itself was good. The canal at the back of the hotel is filled with trash which should be cleaned up by the council if the hotel contacts the authorities about it

I have stayed in a lot of four and five star hotels in Manchester and this was my first time at this hotel. I would say I had a good stay overall however, I had to book an extra night onto my original booking so I had two reservations under the same name. I called twice prior, told them at check in and was told each time there were notes on the system and it wasn’t a problem. A call came through to my room at 11:50am to say I had missed my 11am check out. I had to explain again and I felt there was a lack of apology or acknowledgment in the call making me feel like I had overstayed my welcome. Aside from this, the bed was comfortable and room was clean and stylish. There is low lighting throughout the hotel and vibe continues throughout the bedrooms and bathrooms so not great for make up application. I also found it strange that there were no dressing gowns available in this type of hotel. I would stay again but would book a different room type.
