Thistle Terminal 5 was the perfect location to spend a couple of days before flying home. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with extra amenities for just in case…think umbrella rental stands, uber kiosk and a board with clear directions on the different options to get to the airport. We used public transportation, and got to Terminal 5 in 5 minutes and paid less than £2. The additional cost for breakfast was well worth it, as we were fueled for our day trip. The convenient bus stop allowed us to explore the city very easily. There isn’t much to do in the exact area, but using the #81 bus we ventured to Hounslow a little area with lots of restaurants, mini groceries and the tube station. Would definitely stay there again.

Very Convenient for T5 with a 5 min transfer by driverless pod although there is a £8.50 per person per way charge. Rooms are tired and walls very thin. Staff really friendly and helpful.

The hotel had a fantastic connection to terminal 5. However the hotel was very basic and the shop located inside the hotel was extremely expensive.

We spent just one night here and it was comfortable. Had GF chicken wings for late night snack. There is a lot of walking to get from pod to hotel, so if you have any mobility issues, this might be a problem. I guess accessing the pod itself might be difficult too. Hotel is huge and we had many hallways and turns to get to our room. We each only had a carry on, so none of this was a problem for us.

The hotel itself was quite a distance from the T5 terminal (£20 taxi) as pod was impossible to find. Staff very helpful and dinner was good standard. Great view of airfield.

We would not recommend a stay at this hotel, we arrived at the airport and had no idea where to get a Pod from to transport us to the hotel, we asked several people for assistance only to be sent up and down in the lift and get nowhere, finally we arrived at the Thistle hotel only to find out that we had been charged £8.25 per person for this service, which had not been communicated to us prior to been transported in the Pod. The bed was uncomfortable, so overall this experience was stressful and not the way we would have wanted to start our holiday.

Loved our stay at Thistle!

Super convenient location if you have a flight from T5. The bus stop is on the road at the hotel. The bed was comfy. We had buffet breakfast nexr day that was wonderful and a great value.
