So disappointing as I usually enjoy staying here and it's so convenient for the station. But the lift is still not working (and the stairs are steep!), the hot water still isn't (it's warm at best) and most importantly the internet is not fixed - it keeps stopping for up to a minute at a time. It is therefore, pretty much impossible to work here so I have cancelled my next reservation next week.
Lift still not working (was out of service last week as well), Hot water still not hot (just warm) and internet still intermittently stops working. Losing patience with this hotel now.

On arrival the property looks quite nice and the lobby area was welcoming with a friendly vibe.
On check in I was advised that I did not have breakfast with my reservation although my confirmation stated that I did. Once I showed proof my reservation was updated to include the breakfast option.
The lift in the property was not working so had to carry the bags upstairs, luckily I was only on the first floor.
The corridors smelled very nice and they were clean.
The room itself was ok and warm but very dated and old fashioned.
The bathroom not the best tiled floor wooden panels that could have done with a coat of varnish. Shower was tepid and towels were hard. The plug hole was open and the taps were very tarnished.
The bed was very hard
Just came back to Canada after spending an absolutely glorius weeks stay at your wonderful hotel The Savera..I was in the twin room and my daughters family in your executive room

Rooms are very dated, in need of new mattresses and pillows. Shower very poor, very limited hot water and delivered with poor pressure. No ventilation means bathroom is damp especially after use.
Lift not working and I paid for a breakfast but wanted to upgrade to a full English but was told I could not have a refund on my continental breakfast and had to pay the full price for the full English this is really poor customer service and I will not be booking this hotel again probably the worst hotel I have stayed at for customer service

I like this hotel for the location and the price - a price which forgives the dated room decor. The staff are always very polite and helpful. However, this visit was very poor:
The internet was largely not working. The wifi wouldn't allow devices to join (there was no DHCP for those that care). After they rebooted it that was fixed but the internet connection kept dropping (I was pinging and it was around 50% of the time)
The hot water wasn't. It was warm for a little bit then cold. At first I assumed it was just because it had run out late in the evening when I tried it (though that would have been bad) but it was the same next morning.
The bath plug in my room had no chain and couldn't be removed. To complement this it had a hole in the centre so water drained out only slightly more slowly than the bath filled from the tap.
So - normally OK but not this time.
Super room lovely staff deffo stay here again 5 stars from me

Large room but a little bit tired. Had problems sorting out breakfast in the morning even though we had pre-booked and paid. Also had to pay for parking which was not obvious when booking online.
The room was clean and tidy and the staff were really helpful.

I’ve been a consistent client at Savera Hotel, booking 2–3 times a week due to frequent work travel. However, my recent stay was extremely disappointing. We had clearly informed the staff the night before that our checkout would be at 1 PM and even paid extra for the late checkout. Despite this, the cleaning staff knocked aggressively on our door at 10:30 AM, and again about half an hour later. The second time, one of them entered the room without knocking, which was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
As regular guests, we expect basic courtesy and proper communication among the staff. This experience has really made us reconsider staying here again. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their service.
