As a young female travelling alone I felt reasonably comfortable in this hotel. I was initially given the room on the front of the building on the ground floor... this for myself did not feel particularly safe, the only other room they had available was the one on the same floor next to the reception. This room needs some serious soundproofing as I was awake pretty much every hour of the night with people checking in/ out. I made a complaint about this and they managed to move me for my remaining 3 nights, which made a massive difference! The next room I stayed in was in the second building, top floor at the back and drastically quieter! The room was clean and for a short stay had everything I needed. It's about a 10/15 minute walk to the tube station and for the price & them being accommodating I would stay again.

Had a lovely overnight stay at Chelsea Guest House,very helpful service provided by Catriona and staff,Very friendly Easy check-in and check-out.We stayed in room 106 which was on the ground floor surprisingly heard hardly any noise from outside ,spotlessly clean,comfortable bed,lovely shower,we would choose to stay here again thank you

Great location - we were heading to a gig at Brixton Academy. Train station 2 min walk. Handy to have a McDonald’s on your doorstep for a quick bite to eat at any time. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Very comfortable. Not the biggest twin room but fine for our needs. Nice to have a kettle etc. for a cuppa in the morning. Noise from the road could impact some especially if you want the window open but it’s on a main road in London so it should expected at all hours! Would not hesitate to stay again if we’re heading to O2 academy.

Thin walls need sound insulation room 22

Room 22 down in the basement single room. Expected it to be lovely and quiet for an early start for a charity event. Gone midnight I was awoken by the sound of water running loudly and quickly almost down the wall in the corner. I thought I'd left a tap on but 2 people came to their room amd must have had a shower. The stud walls were SO thin I could hear everything. The occupants got up at 5 a.m and although they tried to be quiet, I was still in the wide awake club after very poor sleep

Fantastic beds. Very comfortable. Small but clean. Zero airflow, even with the window open (faced an alley) so the room was uncomfortably hot even with cooler weather outside. Renovations being done, but did start a little later so wasn't a big deal. Needed to be in the area and would recommend.
