Run down rooms need love

Check in was friendly and easy. The room was not up to par with what’s advertised – wonky light fixtures, chipped furniture, masks all over the walls, a broken toilet handle. Aesthetically this made the stay not as luxe as it seemed to be.

The room was well equipped for my needs with a fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle. Comfy bed and air conditioning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Amenities were good. Short walk to Battersea park which is beautiful.

The room was dusty, the walls had sticky stuff dripping from them. The closet and "kitchenette" doors were broken and dusty. The beds were clean which is why we didn't request another room since we were exhausted after a long journey. I will not stay there again.

The room was meant to have some kitchen facilities - the only thing it had was a microwave and a toaster and a fridge. Had to ask for a kettle and some bowls. Was expecting a 2 burner hot plate and sink and some cooking utensils. Because of this I had to buy food out instead of using the food that I bought to save money. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean and so were the beds but very disappointed with the lack of facilities. I particularly booked this room for those extras. Won't be going again

I hate to complain, but my room was terrible. There was no windows, no aircon, and it was very hot outside. It was so hot a stuffy I hardly slept. The walls had marks and stains, the bed base was filthy, I saw a pube in the shower. Very bad nights sleep, I felt very uncomfortable in there. Avoid.

First of all would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely! If you’re on budget but want something not far from downtown London, this is your spot. Extremely friendly staff. The room is dated, dusty even but the bathroom is clean. Quiet neighborhood, bus 344 and 44 stops right in front. Food stores nearby. They use physical key, don’t expect fancy card system. We used it for sleeping only and for that the price I paid worth it.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The bathroom has a 5-6 inch hole in the ceiling. The sink did not have a drain stop and would over fill and smell if the water ran more than a trickle. Our room was not properly cleaned. Trash was left behind. We asked to change to another room but was told there were not others.

The hotel was awful. Was originally booked for 2 nights but did not stay fully. Had to book the second night elsewhere. The bathroom sink was not fitted properly. Towel rail was broken with no other hooks. The rooms did not feel welcoming and the door only had a latch with no door handles. The door was unlocked when we arrived to our room. The photos on the hotel was completely different to the room. We felt misold.

This hotel is very noisy. We stayed for 3 nights in a room facing the street. The club/restaurant across the street is very loud with people and music until after midnight every night. The street is also loud with cars. There was a lot of screaming on our floor one night then on the street, as well as alarms going off in the room. We left exhausted. The taps in our shower were so hard to turn that you were scorched with hot water. There is no safe in your rooms. There are no great restaurants or English hotels close by as not a great area except for power station and park.
