Service and room size are excellent.
Location is also fantastic easy to walk or take the bus anywhere.
only negative is the number of doors in the room opening in the room when you have more than one person. Very awkward.
Great stay near the Albert Dock. Easy check in and my request for a high floor and quiet room was accommodated. Just a short walk from the train station and Liverpool One. As a lone female traveller I felt safe throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean and with everything I needed.
Beautiful sunrise across the city skyline topped it off!

When we arrived there was a substantial queue at the check in desk. We waited approximately 10 minutes. We were advised that our room was not available. The time at this point was 16.30pm. There were other people in our position too. We were going to the theatre so I wanted to change, freshen up etc.. I was given a door key for the public toilets downstairs. Which wasn’t what I had envisaged.
We were late getting back and I telephoned the hotel to make sure we could get in as we didn’t have our room key.
We collected our key around 11pm that evening.
Following morning we dropped our bags, spent a day in Liverpool. Picked our bags up around 5pm to be faced with the same dilemma of a very big queue yet again.
We are regular visitors to Liverpool and have never experienced our room not being ready. I know Liverpool is a very busy city, other hotels we’ve stayed at don’t seem to suffer in this way.

OK ish but not great
The room looked out onto a derelict empty building, not their fault. There was some black mould on the silicone sealer around the shower. There was a persistant problem with the Key cards which failed to work properly in the lifts and had to be reprogrammed twice! There was a problem with the toilet room which flooded on the last morning and they couldn't find where the water was coming from, although they did attend promptly. The coffee making stuff was not renewed on the second day.
