Absolute luxury and worth every penny.

Just an amazing hotel. Very retro/industrial vibe to the hotel and rooms. The room was absolutely huge with a steel plated drinks bar. The bathroom was immense and the rain forest shower was to die for. Let’s be honest, there are cheaper hotels but this hotel is not that much more than a “main stream hotel” with its bog standard corporate rooms and delivers so much more in terms of atmosphere, relaxation and being pampered. Would stay again at a drop of a hat. Just do it and spoil yourself. Make a memory for the “memory rucksack of life” and don’t think about the cost as no pockets in a shroud….

We loved the decor and our room. All staff were friendly. Good choice of food and excellent breakfast. We used Ubers to get into and out of central Liverpool as the hotel is quite a long way out but it is an excellent hotel and we would highly recommend.

Interesting building, very nice staff, particularly at the front desk, the bar and breakfast. Efficient and friendly. Great sized room. Ideally I would have been closer to the city centre as it is about 30 minutes from Royal Albert Dock and the centre. I've found breakfast options seem to have reduced generally across these sorts of hotels, lack of seeds, nuts, hams and cheeses etc. I prefer a broader choice as often found in Europe. Otherwise perfectly comfortable place to stay.

Pros: huge room, comfy bed, nice hotel, lovely staff Cons: in the middle of nowhere, soggy batter on fish (great chips), weird pasta. Breakfast room service late. Biggest issue was aircon couldn’t cope, couldn’t open a window - was like being in a greenhouse! Stupid rain shower with no other head. Wouldn’t stay there again.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful . Room was huge , clean and comfortable . The only negative ( which was not a big issue ) was there was no plug by the mirror which made it really tricky to use hair straighteners / hairdryer . I would stay again .
