Had a night away. Choice the hotel for its popularity. The hotel itself is excellent parking is extra on site and cost has just gone upto £10 a day. There is some minor wear and tear to the room we had but the size and quality of the room is excellent. We used Ubers to get into and back to the city for convenience.
Fab hotel, huge rooms, great staff and reasonably priced. 35 min walk to the city centre or an 8 min Uber. Surrounding area is undergoing a bit of refurbishment so currently not great but I wouldn’t let that put you off. Easy to get to and parking is great and reasonable too.
Fantastic from start to finish, lovely greeting at Reception, atmosphere at the hotel was fantastic, the decor, everything is bang on. We had the superior room which was huge! Fantastic walk in shower, big bed, lovely couch and table. If we had one criticism, no fresh milk for the room, I stay in lots of hotels and they have Milk machines in the corridors where you can get fresh milk.
Incredible historic building and huge well appointed room. Service at reception could do with improvement - no offer to help with bags on arrival from car or up to room, and none of the three attempts to phone reception for help with the TV were answered. Possibly not enough staff. When I finally got hold of someone in person, they were super helpful.
The titianic is a very unique hotel, with its industrial design.
The room (standard) was large, considering it was a standard, with a good range of facilities. Only a few things regarding the room was that there was a stain on the bedding, and the trim of the shower was coming off, but overall beautiful rooms.
We used the spa facilities and for £20 you can’t go wrong!
Travelling out of the hotel is tricky unless you drive or order an uber into town (not too expensive, around £5)
The staff were great, and we were offered a warm reception.
On leaving, the car parking is pay on exit and secure
Fantastic stay in a piece of architectural history
Fantastic one night stay, check on friendly and efficient, managed to get a parking space and we went straight to our room.
The property is sark but it is totally in keeping with the architecture which is a Hartley marvel.
Went into Liverpool for family meal and an Uber was only £6 each way.
Breakfast was great, considering it is a buffet the food was fresh and hot, there are plenty of cold options as well.
The only downside was the powerful fan in the bathroom which did go off at 11.00pm but came back on at 6.30am.
We would definitely return.

A lovely unique hotel. Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. As it was a special birthday and rather last minute booking I tried to use the thermal suite but it was booked up. This was disappointing. The room was comfortable, spacious with a lovely en suite bathroom. The carpet was a little threadbare in some places although given that the room was rather dark as were the corridors in the hotel then it was not that noticeable. Some of the furniture and the hardware (light switches) looked like they had seen better days although maybe the shabby chic is the appeal. The bed was comfy and towels were thick and fluffy. Breakfast was a great assortment of hot and cold food, and again staff were friendly and attentive. Some of the cooked breakfast items were not particularly hot and the coffee was not either (thermal flasks are not the best imo). Overall it was a decent experience and given the amazing deal I got was good value. I would say if I’d paid full price I’d have been a little disappointed given that the hotel has such a good reputation for being luxurious.
