Lovely place right in the heart of Harrogate well worth a visit great place to stay if your doing the emmerdale tour as Harewood house is 20 min drive to pick up place.

we had a very nice large twin room for our 1 night stay and it was really comfy. the only negative was there was only a net curtain up at the bathroom window and as it was at the front of the hotel there was something of a privacy issue.but that aside we would stay there again.

I thought it was a lovely hotel where the room was spot on for what we needed. Excellent location. Right in the middle of everywhere. The staff behind the desk were very helpful and had a great sense of humour. No worries here. Would definitely stay here again no problem.

Great historic hotel in Harrogate, great location next to valley gardens, staff amazing . rooms clean and comfortable, yes its a little dated but has a homely charm. My go to when on business in Harrogate

The property is cheap and cheerful. You get what you pay for. However , car parking is limited , and we had to park nearby. Luckily we got the last space ,otherwise , we would have been driving around Harrogate for space which is not ideal when you do not know the area.

The Crown is an older building full of charm from a bygone period and that's why for us it has bags of character, we booked an executive room which was more than adequate. yes the floor boards creak a bit - but at least no one can creep up on you. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful, the Hotel was warm and the breakfast was very good. This was our second visit to the Hotel as it is within a 5 minute stroll to the Shopping areas , Cafes etc. Great for a weekend break. What we didn't like was leaving on Sunday.

it waa ok it was probably very grand in its day but its very very dated and the beds were rock hard, we upgraded to an executive room it was not great the view was a wall and it was an extra £20 a night shocking
