Good find!!

Great location, very close to Piccadilly Station and shops. Lovely, quirky Victorian building with many original features. Very clean and quiet.

Disappointed

The staff were lovely and the reception is well decorated. The room was very small and tatty, the walls were badly damaged poorly patched up. The furniture seemed like old bits from other rooms so nothing matched and looked old and damaged. One of the walls was tiled, some of these were cracked and plaster had just been put over the top making it look horrible. There were 3 big plastic poles coming down the tiled wall as a makeshift place for your clothes but this did not go with the rest of the room and looked very cheap. The heating in the room was on full blast and would not turn off meaning we had to sleep with the fan on for the full night and the windows wouldn’t open to try and cool the room down. We were recommended to stay here from someone who had stayed a few years ago and from how they described it then I was left very disappointed.

Loved it

The hotel is lovely. We were checked in by a really friendly guy. I didn’t get his name but he was so helpful. Local knowledge was excellent and we really appreciated it. The room was lovely. Really comfy bed. Brand new bathroom with massive shower. Parking is a one minute walk away which is discounted by the hotel. Great location and we will definitely be back.

Oh my gosh, this hotel was stunning! Fabulous check in, choice of floor to stay on, room was beautiful! Three massive mirrors in the room, amazing lighting, fab clean bright shower. Bed was soooo comfy! Will definitely be booking again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would have no hesitation to go back. The restaurant was excellent, I would highly recommend the food! The hotel is very well presented and uniquely decorated. The bed is comfy. It's a real struggle to find anything to complain about.

Abode Manchester 405

Lovely hotel, room 405 is huge but needs decor checking, paper peeling off the wall and clear damp issues in room but it is an old building. Had to ask for extra toilet roll as no full rolls provide. 1 out of 2 special requests completed (however the 2nd was our personal choice which most hotels we stay in delivers but sadly not this one. Hot water not overly hot. Checked in earlier than expected. Pricey breakfast and offered no toast despite jam on table. Staff friendly tho. Didnt mention any issues above as only really slept there one night. Overall good stay for money.
