Impersonal bare room and bit tatty. Good service.

Room was upgraded to Club but just meant it had more m2 floor space. Room was so big TV was too small. Tatty around the edges with grout missing in shower and bashed furniture. Room had a cold bare feeling to it. Not the intimate plush rooms you used to get in Malmaison. Whatever they are trying to do doesn’t work.

Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.

This place is way overpriced. The cleaners clearly don't really clean. We had to hunt for the tv remote control, and found it under the bed. The shower head clearly needs descaling as jets come out in all directions. There are no windows which open so it gets very stuffy and dry with just the aircon to provide relief from the heat. The toilet isn't cleaned properly at all, there was urine splashes on the wall at either side of the toilet. I made reception aware and showed them pictures, and they just said sorry. Not really good enough. I'd upload the photos but it isn't allowing me to.

Could be better

The room was adequate, would have liked water in the fridge at least. The reception staff were wonderful, however the bar staff particularly the female manager was rude and a lit arrogant. Customer service skills need a rethink. Great location not too noisy traffic wise however early morning delivery 6am were a bit too noisy.
