Morning breakfast lady, very helpful.. Said where to pick up park drive, into city.. I had light breakfast..only. Room small but nice. Top floor. No lift. I am 83, hazard getting case up there.. No help. Grounds looked great. Idea place for city..and M11. Grandchester, next juc 12 nice pubs for meals. Enjoyed my trip

Charming

Same day booking. Small annexe room but very comfortable. Excellent location- close to motorway and Cambridge Park and Ride. Several good pub/restaurants within a few minutes drive.

Not a great experience to be honest. Arrived to find no functioning reception, having to search for staff to even speak to. We arrived 3h early to our check in time - were told we would have to pay extra if we wanted to leave our bags at the hotel (WOW). No air conditioning making the place LITERALLY like a sauna on not even the hottest day this season. When asked for refreshment options we were directed to a tiny room with a vending machine and an automatic coffee machine - pay contactless, prices like for a barrista-made coffee. When asked to use a toilet, we had to wait for them to fetch us the key to the toilet! Like anyone who wasn't a guest would stop there looking for a toilet... The room - not terribly clean, needed to first kill the spiders and remember to bring all your toiletries cause there's nothing there. Again no aircon - the fan in the room didn't manage to cool it down at all all night. Breakfast buffet - things in the 'heated' metal dishes (eggs/tomatoes,etc.) were all cold. We were told we can order eggs (pouched/fried) from the kitchen so we did... Never arrived as they forgot our order and the kitchen closed. Horrible service and poor accommodation. Don't get tricked by the beautiful pictures!

Liked our ground floor rooms in the chalet. Traffic noise with windows open but hotel has convenient location next to M11! Clean comfortable, good value for money. Didn't eat at hotel. Check in friendly and efficient. Was concerned about previous reviews but our experience (2 rooms) was fine. Deposit promptly returned too.

Really nice place

The room was very nice and clean, a bit warm but with the window open there was a nice breeze. The swimming pool is very nice, heated at the right temperature to be pleasant but not too hot for a swim. Thw building and garden are great.

Room compact but had all amenities we required, our room located on left side of chalet building kept cool all day out of the midday sun. We've stayed here a few times No problems with staff members all accommodating booking taxis etc, easy check in / out. 10mins walk to Park & ride catch bus into Cambridge.

The room was lovely as were the grounds, but it would have been nice for lunch and/or lunch to be served in the dining room as the the other establishments were very expensive and quite up market making me feel a bit uncomfortable overall. The snacks and coffee room was a bit of a joke, a vending machine that was pretty much empty and a coffee machine that offered only 2 different types of coffee and hot water, not exactly welcoming. And nowhere did it state online or around the property that you have to pay extra to go swimming, i was happy to pay it but then noticed a sign saying no lone swimming, surely if you have a pool you should have a life gaurd as well?
