Room size was typical small size for Tokyo hotels but very clean, and came equipped with a functional microwave and washer dryer combi! I also really liked the smart TV that had Netflix and Youtube amongst others. While the hotel itself is quiet and secure, you have to walk about 1-2 dark streets to get to it and at night it was slightly noisy because I think there are some food establishments nearby. Nevertheless, enjoyed my stay and would come back!

It is convenient to get around Tokyo. Not too distant to train stations. The room has a washing machine so it is good for someone who travels for a long trip.

เป็นโรงแรมที่ชอบมากนะ ชอบที่มีอุปกรณ์อำนวยความสะดวกครบดี มีเครื่องซักผ้าในห้อง ตู้เย็นกว้างใหญ่กว่าที่อื่น ชอบม่านที่ฝังกับผนังเพราะแสงไม่ลอดผ่าน มืดสนิทดี ทำให้ไม่ตื่นตามแสง ชอบมาก แต่ว่าพอดีช่วงนี้จนถึง 26 ธันวาคมนี้ เขามีรีโนเวตโรงแรมอยู่ค่ะ อาจมีเสียงดังบ้าง รวมถึงตอนกลางคืนเขาก็ยังทำงานแบบที่ไม่เสียงดัง แต่ว่ามันมีกลิ่นเคมีลอดเข้ามาในห้อง หายใจไม่สะดวกทรมานมาก นอนไม่จนเช้าเลย พอกลิ่นหายก็ค่อยได้นอน เลยรู้สึกว่าไม่เหมาะจะไปพักช่วงนี้เท่าไรค่ะ

Close to trains & metro with several department stores, shopping malls & food courts close by, the property is conveniently located and easy to navigate around the Ikebukuru area. Only consideration is several floors of property is still being renovated so there's limited room services & amenties.

Great place for longer-term stay

Tokyu Stay hotels are great for extended stays, thanks to the in-room clothes washer, hot plate, etc. I only stayed a single night this time, but have stayed at Tokyu Stay hotels on a number of longer trips in the past. The room this time was a bit smaller than others in the same chain I've stayed in, but was still larger than many Japanese rooms. This hotel is on the West side of Ikebukuro Station, which is less-developed and a bit more old-school than the East side. It's just a block or two from one of the station exits (I forget, think it was Exit 6), so not a bad walk at all, even if it's raining - maybe 5 minutes to the entrance, 10 minutes to the gates. Ikebukuro station is very easy to navigate since all the gates are connected to the main underground corridor, and a number of train lines come together here, so it's easy to get other places you need to go. It's northwest of Tokyo proper, so consider where you want to spend your time, but for me it's perfect as most of the people I know and companies I visit are on the West side of the city. Ikebukuro is also a fun area to stay in, with many small restaurants, bars and clubs and a very young feel to it. (Although more of the activity is on the East side of the station than the West.) Overall, highly recommended, but the East side of the station is a bit more lively with things that would interest Westeners.
