The hotel location and cleanliness were great. It was disappointing that the advertised sky pool (which was one of the deciding factors in us booking this hotel) and cafe were both closed for the season (this is in April/may early summer). The room was also tiny with zero storage except for under the bed. As a tourist with a suitcase it was impossible to move around the room if the suitcase was out. The elevators were also very busy and we were often waiting long periods to get onto an elevator.

For the price you can beat this. But if you are looking for a big space, I wouldn’t recommend. The room is extremely small. Bath can only fit one person at a time. Overall nice place to stay. I will be back

Very small rooms with small window that does not crack open for natural airflow. Color in hotel very gloomy. Restaurants in hotel pricey. Restaurants in walking distance limited. View of river and nearby Emperor's Park was very, very nice. Staff were very patient, cheerful, helpful, and kind.

The only complaint I’d have is not so much on the hotel as it is the elevator’s programming. It seemed to go to any floor it felt like, you’d press the button, and it’d be on floor 1 for a minute, then it’d pass your floor and go to 17, then it’d pass your floor again to go back to 1 or 2 then it’d go to 4 or 5. There were multiple elevators but it’d select the one you’re going to take as soon as you pressed the button. And if the other one was free for the whole time, too bad. There were multiple times where I was standing there waiting for literally 10 minutes, while one elevator was moving and the other 2 were completely stationary on the first floor and the 18th floor. The hotel was amazing, the staff were great, clean, convenient, comfortable, plus it was a very short walk to the train station and very close to Akihabara.

The rooms are small but I feel thats to be expected at Japanese hotels. The elevators had occasional issues but nothing awful. The convenience store in the hotel was a lifesaver at times and the restaurant was absolutely delicious. The deep bath was nice after a long day. Right nearby is a train station but it was never too loud and a bunch of restaurants.
