Room was clean with a nice view, had a good hair dryer and robes to sleep in if you forgot your pjs. Very small room though so it’s good for a quick stop in but not sure for long stays with more than one big luggage. It’s doable if you only open one at a time

It was our first trip to Japan and first ever interaction to a self checkin system. The checkin was very smooth and the stay was great. Ignoring the space, the rooms were very clean & hygienic and had all the facilities in the compact space. The view of Skytree was cherry on the cake.

Great property! If you want to have a relaxing stay. The room is not as spacious but its clean and good for a one or two night stay. There's a public bath on the 12th floor where you can relax just make sure to bring a towel and the provided robe in your room. Instructions and details of pf the public bath is provided on the TV screen. Staff, is very friendly and try to accommodate all the necessity during my stay-- this included, luggage storage during check-out.

As expected from any APA accommodation, compact but had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Some furnishings seemed outdated though..the bidet for example was not working properly.

The room was a bit smaller than I'd expected, and the shower took some getting used to. The window also only opened up to the flat side of the building. It was close to several train stations which was very convenient. The little master control lightswitch by the bed was nice.

I recently stayed at APA Hotel Kuramae for five nights. Due to uncertainty around the length of my stay and the hotel's 24-hour cancellation policy, I made five separate daily bookings on Expedia. Once I confirmed I would be staying the full duration, I emailed the hotel multiple times requesting that these bookings be consolidated into a single reservation. Unfortunately, I received no response for weeks. In an effort to resolve this, I even asked other APA hotels (Osaka & Kyoto) I had previously stayed at to contact APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae on my behalf. I was informed that Asakusa Kuramae confirmed they would combine the reservations. However, upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that nothing had been done, and was told I had to check in and out every day. The issue was only resolved after a senior staff member intervened. Additionally, the check-in process was frustrating. No staff provided any guidance, leaving me to navigate the system alone. Thankfully, I was already familiar with the APA process, or it would have been even more difficult. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was the room itself. Despite specifically booking a non-smoking room, the hotel consistently smelled strongly of cigarette smoke throughout my stay. This left me deeply dissatisfied and regretting my decision to book this location. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to prevent similar experiences for future guests.
