Lovely hotel
Hotel is close to the station. Lobby is grand and impressive. Warm and welcoming reception staff. My room wasn't ready when I arrived at 14:00, however I was able to leave my bag so I could explore the city centre. On return to the hotel at 23:00, I completed my check in and collected my bag and tried to use the virtual key in the app for my room. There was a problem with the virtual key, so I was given a physical key card which worked fine. The room was cosy and modern, slightly dark- no main light ( bed lamp, bathroom light and light by door), tea tray was good included biscuits and two cans of still water, fridge in room, toiletries bottles in shower ( shower gel, shampoo and conditioner). The window was left slightly open which I didn't discover until the morning, so room was cold, also think heating co trol is locked in bedroom. I had an end room on the first floor, no view( if you take the stairs you have to go up at least 4 flights so I recommend taking the lift with baggage. I didn't use the bar during my stay but looked good. Check out was easy and was able to leave my bag and collect later which is very useful.
