Mostly good but needs an update

Excellent service from reception and breakfast teams. Very helpful. The hotel room was tired - artex ceiling, shower over bath poor pressure,cracked electrical cover plate. Also an annoying flashing smoke detector on the ceiling. Bed was huge but only fair for comfort. Breakfast very good except for the powdered scrambled eggs.

It was great to have parking in same place as hotel and the hotel location was in walking distance to the main town centre. The hotel is located in a quiet area with a few restaurants and bars. I'd highly recommended.

The team members we encountered during our stay were all very friendly, polite and helpful. Especially the gentleman that checked us in. The room was comfortable, maybe a little dated, but for the price, it was a very good stay.

Great hotel in great location. Stayed in a suite room with dining package and lounge access. Evening meal and breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. Lounge snacks and alcohol were just ok. Having slightly more premium alcoholic drinks and a couple more hot food snacks would make a huge difference and maybe playing some music/tv would give it a bit more atmosphere. Short 5 minute walk into central Harrogate. Parking easy directly underneath hotel.

Been to this hotel before and it’s always lovely. We were told however at check that we’d been given a free upgrade which we were thrilled about but when we got to the room we hadn’t. The room was still nice but that was disappointing

Your hotel is convenient : it looks dark and depressing . The car park is awful . The pillows were derply incomfortable, bed so so. Breakfast was plentiful, not top motch. Too few staff really so delay between drinks and food . So nothing to be entirely negative about but disappointing

Great location

Hotel is in good location. Check in was very smooth and helpful! Breakfast was fantastic with good selection and great service ftom gabriel.The only thing taht let this hotel down was the room. The bathroom was not very clean at all, white towels were all stained and stains all over the carpet. Compared to other IHG hotel tooms this was poor.
