The service was excellent. The receptionist, the person who helped us with our luggage. We loved that there was someone who helped us plan our trips during our stay. It was free; it was perfect. The coffee and rewards to spend at the hotel were great. One day our shower flooded, and they immediately went to fix it. Comfortable beds, good location. I didn't like seeing homeless people on every corner. This isn't something the hotel can control, but it unfortunately affects the experience.

It was great! The room was spacious and clean. Didn't even find dust in the drawers. When we needed extra pillow and a blanket, it was provided to us right away.

Gorgeous small hotel, large rooms, comfy and clean. No room service after breakfast - knocks this down a star for me. Otherwise, first class place with first class staff.

This is a decent corporate hotel that was once a hip fun boutique hotel. I would stay again if doing work near there but would not for weekend or wanting something unique, well designed or with great service. I had a mediocre drink in the bar which was $22, fine if a wonderful cocktail in San Francisco but not for something you’d find in Fresno (no offense Fresno). I stayed here a long time ago, knew it had been redone and hoped for something updated maybe even cool but just another Hyatt or whoever bought it.

Updated hotel with charm remaining

We were on a quick getaway from our home in the East Bay. We really enjoyed this hotel. Sonesta has modernized this older hotel, updating it but leaving a lot of its charm.

Comfy stay!

We were staying here for one night for our anniversary and were very happy with the room. The staff we interacted with was super nice. The noise levels were moderate, which is expected in a city. It was easy to tune out. The only thing is there is no parking offered by the hotel, it’s about a 2 minute walk up the road to a parking garage with 24/hr security which wasn’t inconvenient, just not what we were expecting.
