First and foremost, the location was everything. 😍
However, I travel often and this hotel did not have good customer service similar to other hotels. From upon arriving, first thing we encountered was the Valet. Although we were the only car there, we did not receive a greeting whatsoever by the employee, no acknowledgement that we were even there 😂 so we walked towards the valet counter and provided our key to the attendant. No hello, no thanks, nothing.
I then started walking towards the receptionist counter, thinking that the whole valet situation was just an isolated incident. I was wrong it just got worse 😩
As I was walking in, I looked up and made eye contact with the receptionist. Again, first impression. She looked at me and then looked back down. No hello, no smile, no welcome in, nothing. I had never experienced that at a hotel so I was put off by it.
Lastly, the employees working the morning breakfast also lacked customer service skills. We asked for assistance with the pancake machine and that was a lag. The lady had no sense of urgency in assisting us. She went in a room and disappeared for a while so my daughter and I had to stand by the machine for a while as the line got longer and longer.
We stayed two nights and spent approx $800 there, you would think we would receive better service, unfortunately we did not. Customer service is everything to me and my family and this hotel did not provide that for us during our stay.
