Staff was exceptional, the room was really nice, and the stay was just perfect. My only complaint is that you should stay in the Premier Building as the Standard/Historic Building not only felt cramped, but had this weird odor so I would not recommend it; we had a balcony in our premier room but never used it as it appeared to have not been swept in months though! ★★★★☆

i felt the area was a little unsafe, too many homeless around, not much places to eat, it felt uneasy to walk around in the evening although a lot of branded stores in the area.

Excellent location and the staff is very accommodating. My first few days I stayed in a room where one of the windows had no curtains and this woke me up too early every morning. My next stay my room was good. This is a good hotel that is centrally located to shopping and transport options.

Pleasant stay for 5nights. Good location and close to public transport. Thermostat didn’t work in our room unfortunately and the room was quite run down and outdated. Very noisy, could hear everything happening down on the streets and from all your neighbours on the level as well. Apart from that, staff were fantastic and our stay overall was pretty average.

We enjoyed our four-night stay at the Handlery US Hotel. The staff was always nice and helpful. We had a little extra space compared to some hotels, which was very welcome. The shower worked well and the beds were comfortable. The elevator was a little funky--it would often declare that it was not in service, but after a brief wait it worked fine! Starbucks is just around the corner, and we enjoyed eating at Little Delhi and the Pinecrest Diner.

Would highly recommend. Staff is so kind and accommodating, the room has a vintage hotel charm and was comfortable, the heated pool was great for the kiddos, and centrally located so you could get anywhere either by walking or by hopping on the public transit. Thanks for the hospitality!
