Would have liked more amenities such as soa services, concierge. For the price, I feel they could at least provide a continental breakfast. And should have coffee/ tea/ water in lobby. The water provided did not taste good. It is also dark inside. Could use more light.

Solid union square pick

Bed was super comfortable. Good location and union square has cleaned up its act. Room updates were nice. Wish shower had more pressure and line at the front desk was always long; house keeping skipped us one day and one morning we woke up early to house keepers calling to each other down the hall, but otherwise the stay was great. Good cocktails in the bar. Would stay again

The bartenders and the front desk staff were very nice. Unlike the restaurant hostesses and the bellmen. Breakfast is very expensive for what it is. Overall hotel is cool, we enjoyed our stay.

The Beacon Grande is the old Sir Francis Drake Hotel greatly remodeled. It is in a convenient location on Union Square in SF.

Nice family stay in Union Square.

Great central location right near union square. Easy access to all parts of SF. Enjoyed short to medium walks to great neighborhood cafe's in the morning. Bellmen and valet were very helpful. Room was quite spacious and comfortable for a family of four. Parking was very expensive but probably on par for the area. Wish we could have visited the Starlight bar on the rooftop but it was closed during our stay. Would definitely return.

This was our second night here. First at the beginning of our trip and 4 days later. If I had had this room before I would not have come back. It was small and the bathroom was ridiculously small. First time we had a nice walk in shower and this time an old bathtub that needed replastering and an old very low toilet. The lobby, lobby bar and rooftop bar are very nice as was the staff.
