Temperature in the room is either freezing or hot, No matter how I adjusted the t-stat it was one extreme or the other. The staff was already working in the hallways and cleaning rooms around 7, way too early considering the walls are paper thin. And I could hear the alarm clock and phone ring of the room next door. The good news is you can’t hear city noise on 14ft floor, it it didn’t matter because of the noise from hallway and adjacent rooms. City noise would hav been preferable. Valet for $82 is just high. And what does the $35 resort fee get you? Couldn’t tell you. Staff was very good, location excellent.

Lovely stay for Valentine’s Day! I had a wonderful experience with both the front desk staff and the Post Room Staff. Plan ahead if you plan to valet as the street gets crowded. But the stutter garage is a fantastic option as well. Overall happy with the booking and would stay again!

The room was clean and in good condition. There was a complementary coffee machine with everything except cups. The bathroom was clean although there was no conditioner. The noise lever is not great. You can hear a lot of sounds from the outside. Overall our experience was average for a hotel at this price point.

Fantastic stay in a perfect Union Square location. The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was attentive, courteous, and made the entire experience feel effortless. The room was comfortable and quiet, allowing for a great night’s sleep right in the heart of the city. Everything exceeded expectations, and I would gladly return on my next visit. Highly recommended.

My primary issue was the cleanliness of the room. My window was dirty and there was something sticky on parts of the floor. I also took issue with towels/detergent used to clean them. When I arrived to the hotel, I went straight on the shower to wash off airport germs before exploring the city. Immediately after drying with the towels, I started itching uncontrollably ( I contacted front desk regarding this issue). As a result of this discomfort i could not enjoy my first night in town and had to shower at a friend’s home. I also am displeased about the refreshments. I believe additional water should be provided when housekeeping cleans the room.

Our stay at the Beacon Grand was exceptional. When we checked in Veronica was friendly, professional, and very helpful. We were also impressed to see management, Leif Abram, greeting guests in the lobby! The room was clean and provided a impressive view. We felt safe. The location is ideal for sightseeing, dining, and shopping at Union Square. We did not need a car and walked to China Town, North Beach, and to the SF Museum of Modern Art. We could not recommend the Beacon Grand more highly! WE WILL RETURN!
