Hotel was very nice, very spacious lobby and nice decoration during Christmas. Staff was very helpful and polite. We stayed on the 15th floor and the view was very enjoyable. Only "problem" was the room was not as big, however, it was very comfortable.

The quality of the rooms are clean and homie, with memorable views of Union Square (in the winter time with its ice skating rink and Christmas holiday decorations). My only real gripe is that my shower wasn’t as warm as I am used to; and I don’t take piping hot showers. I totally would stay here, again. Felt like I was smack-dab in the middle of the city. In the morning, you hear the city come alive with the sounds of the historic trollies and weekday hubbub.

Esthetic room but that’s about it. Central heater, vent suction in restroom and coffee machine were not working. No warm environment found in hotel. I felt I was being follow to elevator. My stay was for 3 days and almost every single time there was staff members following me to the elevator but not once they say good morning or good evening as I walk in to the hotel. I visit the Westin to see the cookie castle and ohh my goodness were they welcoming and happy to have us there. The Ambiance was incredible noticeable. My advice invest more on your staff it make a world of a difference when you have happy employees.
