Great service and ideal location

Staff went out of the way for us and provided a fridge on request. Bathroom needed maintenance with chipped bath and old sealant. Health club/pool was great but busy at weekends with public use. Great location near everything. Would come back again.

Lovely stay, staff at reception were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice and a had a good selection. The room was clean and tidy. We will stay there again. The welcome cookie was a very nice touch.

Just stayed overnight. Nice hotel in great location. Only ten minute walk to the lanes or old part of Brighton. We paid for an upgrade to our room and got a larger bed thankfully. The room was nice and clean. Had everything except a fridge. When we first checked in reception was very busy about 9 people waiting for only two staff - they were doing their best. We parked our car in the car park for £24 which was fine but the spaces are very tight for large cars. Had breakfast there which was standard but the pastries and croissants were stale. The coffee machine served cold latte.

Lovely building, very spacious, clean and welcoming. Beautiful staircases! Lifts are very small especially when you have guests, suitcases and buggies in them. Horrendous queue for breakfast and reception staff not great, we’re told the queue was unpredictable, surely they must know the capacity of guests.

Wonderful stay

The room was beautiful, we had a queen room with a balcony and sea view and it did not dissapoint, we were there for our anniversary and the staff did a lovely set up for us in the room, I was not expecting the effort that was put in to be honest, we were surpised and overjoyed, i would definitely recomend staying there and if the option comes up again we would 100% stay there again. The prices are quite high but it was worth it, we have already looked up staying here again but the rooms seem to book up rather quickly, even for next year

The hotel was lovely, staff really friendly and helpful. But we were really disappointed with how uncomfortable the bed was. We had a very bad nights sleep, also the aircon (which was were very thankful for!!!), was very noisy at times with an outbursts of a loud noise.

Over priced standard room

Air con restricted to 18 degrees and not cold enough. Swimming pool has restricted use, no under 16’s after 5.30 and during our visit at 8pm they were using it for swimming lessons. Standard room was very small, no mini bar, very over priced.

We paid £25 extra for sea view. Windows are so dirty you can’t even see anything. Also bathtube was dirty, there was someone’s hair left over. And some nail polish left on bathtube, they did not even care to remove. Also bathroom was so small. Really didn’t deserve £25 We paid for nothing. There was no minibar. No complimentary water. Even we ask for water and they said that you have to member to get comp water. My husband gave his Hilton award number but they still did not send us comp water. Guys really how much could cost just god damn water?! We definitely will not choose this hotel in the future

No drinking water

The hotel was in a good location and overall looked nice, which we appreciated. However, there were a couple of issues that really impacted our stay. When we asked for drinking water at reception—during a very hot time of year—we were told they didn’t have any, which was quite surprising and disappointing. You’d expect at least basic hospitality like a bottle of water, especially in the heat. Additionally, the window in our room wouldn’t open properly and had to be propped open, which didn’t feel safe or comfortable. With a bit more attention to guest needs, this place could be much better
