Though some may say the breakfast was basic, to me and family, it was great. Wide choice of foods. No matter where you sat, you could see a TV! Rooms were clean. We even had complimentary soda,water, and chocolates in the fridge! Sweet touch! God willing, defo back next year. Staff, all friendly and helpful.

The staff were friendly and helpfull especially as one of the lifts was not working ,helping older people getting their suitcases up the stairs from the carpark. Room was clean and comfortable, also bathroom, breakfasts was excellent and staff very helpful , Although nothing was said we think the central heating was not working, although there was a load of small heaters dotted about the lounge was quite cold. Would still recommend to friends.

Long queue to check-in. Was then told I needed to pay for parking which I had already previously included with my stay. Receptionist then checked when I contested this and apologised. Upon check-out was told I needed to pay for our breakfast. Again, explained that this should have been included with my booking. Had to provide evidence of this via my booking app. Walls are very thin as we could hear other guests talking in adjacent rooms.

The room was not as requested at time of booking. Whilst I know room requests are subject to availability, when I enquired I was told the hotel was full and a room change was not possible. However, I subsequently heard a conversation where a man was saying how noisy the hotel was and had been offered a room change. I was clearly lied to! On the subject of noise, at around 5pm I was in my room and thought a nightclub had opened nearby. It turned out to be the people in the next room playing music loudly with heavy bass. I had to knock on the door to ask them to turn it down. It genuinely felt like a nearby nightclub. In addition there were constant bangs and other noises. It sounded like there was a metal grill underneath our room, constantly scraping open and closed. Thuds seemed to come from underneath and above us. That night, at around 11:30pm there was the sound of people returning to the room next door and then, loud laughing, talking etc clearly heard through the wall. I banged on the wall and it quietened down temporarily. However it soon started up again and meant I did not get to sleep until around 2am, despite using earplugs. The walls seem incredibly thin. I should not be able to hear anything from other rooms or above and beneath me and yet this stay was characterised by noise all the time. I was subsequently told the hotel was previously an office block and had not been adequately soundproofed. I would never stay here again. Very disappointing stay.
