We had the best time, greeted by a lovely gentleman who parked our car for us, check in easy with a friendly member of staff. We stayed in a standard cell room which was clean and adequate, bed was lovely and comfy. We had dinner at the slug & lettuce which was on the hotel grounds. Breakfast was amazing , hubby said it was the best he had had 😄 will definitely come again. Fyi.. congestion charge came in last week £5 per day

We loved staying one night in Malmasion. The rooms are super updated with all conveniences. We loved the area it is located in and the decorating is interesting and beautiful. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is in the perfect location to visit Oxford city and colleges. It is close to shops and restaurants and provided you pre-book the parking is very convenient. Our room ( junior suite) was large and comfortable. The room was cold on arrival and it was not clear how the heating worked but once we got instructions it warmed up fine. The bathroom was cold throughout our stay because the only heating is a heated towel rail which is insufficient for the size of room. Also when you turned in the light a fan turned on automatically. It was aggressively loud and there was no other light source. There was a free standing tub in the bathroom but if you wanted to use it you would need to listen to the industrial strength fan which is not very conducive to a relaxing soak in the bath! Service was good at reception but it took half an hour to get a drink in the restaurant do our food arrived before we were served a drink! Our server did biologist when we complained and chomp’s the first round of drinks..

Absolutely loved the location and with parking as well. Staff we incredibly helpful, and we were upgraded to a cell room! Very clean and surprisingly quiet Amazing food and a hospitality. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Oxford.

An unusual and well appointed suite. Lots of stairs so be prepared to climb. Minor issues were speedily remedied. A bit pricey, but mostly worth the cost for location and quirky quaintness of building.
