I had the most wonderful room in the old part of the building. Warm and spacious, comfy bed, lovely seating and dressing area, clean bathroom with a lovely shower! I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Quick and easy walk over the lovely river to the RSC and Stratford. Parking on site is easy but limited, but there is plenty of parking nearby. The best thing was the friendliness and helpfulness of every member of staff that we spoke to. From welcome to departure all the staff couldn't do enough to help! Wonderful place!

Friendly welcome, but no acknowledgement of Platinum status - no room upgrade or welcome drinks. Hot old fashioned room, with noisy heating and road noise. Dreadful breakfast, my wife was still suffering from the effects the following morning. This place is out of the 1980's and the way they do breakfast is similar.

Stayed for two nights as we had tickets for the RSC theater. It would usually be a little out of our budget but we took advantage of an Autumn deal. Had a lovely stay overall. Nice comfortable room, comfy beds, great shower and excellent breakfast. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside was the bar area looked a bit tatty and in need of some redecorating. We would definitely stay again.
