Excellent location right on the beach. They didn’t have the breakfast that was included listed, but changed it. They overcharged me on my room on every night. When I pointed it out they refunded me but of course I will lose on exchange rates

I was seeing a band in Brighton with my two teenagers and decided to try this hotel. We really liked it! It was very reasonably priced, extremely convenient location, and our Seaview balcony room was spotless and very spacious. I've only marked down one star for facilities as the trim on the shower screen didn't meet the bath and the floor got soaked when we showered, so we had to use all of the towels to mop it up. Other than that, fabulous, and we would definitely stay here again. We didn't eat in the hotel or use the bath facilities so cannot comment on that.

The room was large, clean and well equipped especially the mini bar. There were areas that looked some what tired though. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Only having one working lift in a fully booked busy hotel was really inconvenient though

Let’s start with the car park, the spaces are so tiny you’ll struggle to park, wires hanging off ceilings, open pipes hanging down! For £25 I would have expected a bit more! Check in was fine, the lift is out of order but not a massive problem. The room was a decent size, lovely comfortable bed and quiet. However, the walls were filthy, could see dirty drips and hand prints all over them, carpet equally as dirty. The security chain on the door was hanging off so pointless. I only stayed one night so couldn’t be bothered complaining

The Holiday Inn Brighton is an okay hotel, but requires a great deal of renovation. We checked into the room which was reasonable, but the bathroom was tiny and let it down rather however the room was clean and functional. There was quite a lot of noise from what we assume was a wedding party around 230 in the morning to around 330 in the morning. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Not sure I would stay there again, Peter.

Very nice . Staff went above and beyond for our stay. Lovely clean room . Parking on site in underground carpark , easy to park . Asked for extra pillows and quilt and nothing was to much for them . The breakfast is well worth the money , freshly cooked omelettes, pancakes and eggs! Amazing selection of cooked, fresh fruit , pastries and Continental as well as cereals . So much choice , even down to coffee, lattes etc…. Thankyou all at the holiday Inn .. we will definitely be returning!

We were given a room with a door to an adjoining room that was not sound insulated, the windows were filthy, the net curtain was brown with dirt and the mattress was uncomfortably hard. The only lift that worked was very slow. The location was good.

It was a good stay. Staff are generally helpful, breakfast was good. Rooms maybe slightly dated but very clean and generally good. Great view from entrance
