This is a great hotel, very central and reasonably priced. The service was excellent, and the hotel has recently gone through a full refurbishment that has been very tastefully done. I would have given this 5/5 stars, but I was woken at 4am by the noise of bottle recycling bins being emptied into a lorry, and then again at 6am by the noise of beer barrel crates being delivered to the pub next door to the hotel. Apparently this is a common problem the hotel is aware of, but cannot do anything about. I would stay again, but only in a room to the front of the hotel, away from the the noisy, back alley, early morning disruption.

Hi we had a issue with the toilet as the seat was loose and wen we flushed it the toilet spits water out at you so not very hygienic Other than that a cosy stay

The met hotel is a great place to stay. The place has been newly refurbished and the hotel looks very modernised and the hotel room as well as the bathroom are very nice. Furthermore the complimentry drinks, water and snacks are a nice touch. Futhermore the customer service was amazing and the staff went above and beyond in assisting me.

Room had been refurbished and was clean and tastefully decorated. As well as having complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits there was also crisps dry toast peanuts and chocolate available. Also fresh milk to add to the tea and coffee

The staff gave me someone else’s room key. The room is very small. The decor was clearly done on a budget and without much care for details. When I got there the lobby was packed full of people at Christmas parties. There’s one small lift for the entire place and it’s very slow. Dirty bathroom.

Had a great stay in this hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We upgraded to premium double room and it certainly didn't disappoint, the room itself was spotlessly clean and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel. Staff accomadating. Only issue is there are NO drawers in the rooms to put small items of clothing. There is a hanging rail but no storage for other item, so had to leave most things in the suitcase
