Drab, dowdy, dirty and HOT!

Arrived hot and tired, got to the room. There was no air conditioning and a fan on the nightstand. It looked like someone had laid in the bed, made a cup of coffee, ate a biscuit. Left dirty cup and spoon, hairs in sink. Not impressed. Walked out and went to the Municipal Hotel and Spa which was wonderful.

Fabulously quirky hotel! Especially if you're a beatles fan. Very clean, quiet at night but if you want to party the Cavern Club and surrounding venues are very close.

Decent stay for the money.

Hotel was great location city centre, but rooms are showing their age and the décor needs revamped. Beds were uncomfortable a double was two singles with split in middle made for uncomfortable nights sleep. The hotel is next to cavern so expect music to be loud at night not hotels fault and also loud noises from seagulls in the early morning being in city centre.

Perfect location

Hotel is in a great location near Shops, The Cavern, Restaurants etc Nice hotel but our room was very hot and aircon did not seem to work. Room and bathroom very large.

Great location, kind and helpful staff. However, my stay was VERY uncomfortable due to inadequate climate control. A/C was basically non functioning leaving my nice room feeling like a sweat box for my entire stay, even after a “reboot” of the system The fact there were 2 fans in the room was a tip off. A shame because this stay should’ve been MUCH more comfortable

Cant way to come back

If you are a fan of the Beatles or appreciate music at all THIS is the place to stay. Honestly even if you never heard of the Beatles you will love the hotel. Its old antique vibe comvined with the history of the Beatles made it really fun. The staff was fantastic. Willing to go above and beyond to serve your needs. My only regret is i didnt get to stay longer. I will say , a warning. The night life around the hotel goes late. You can hear the fun till about 2am. If that concerns you ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.
