Front desk and shuttle drivers were top notch! After visiting Vegas hotels, it was great to come back to a smoke free hotel, shower and got a few hours of quality sleep before leaving on an early morning flight.

At the end of our vacation, we decided to stay at Tru by Hilton. It’s location is within minutes of the Car Rental Return for the airport. What convenience! We were able to quickly drive to the rental return, return our car, and hop on their shuttle to the airport. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Breakfast was above standard-fare hotel buffet. We enjoyed it.

Good hotel

We have stayed at Tru buy Hilton 4 times now. On arrival we have been greeted by friendly reception staff who will immediately honour or confirm any special requests or shuttle bookings as part of the check in process. Unfortunately one person on check in this time was quite rude and dismissive and would not interact because "my computer is not working" . They then spent time at reception reading and refusing to interact even after the computer was supposedly up and running. we were left feeling quite uncomfortable by the interaction we had with that person . We later ignored that person and spoke to her colleague (standing next to her) who completed the remaining items for us as expected with no fuss or objection as we have done before on previous occasions. We have been very happy to stay at Tru in the past and would do so again in future. However the person that was rude and dismissive at reception this time has let down the hotel on this occasion and lost a star overall on this review by their actions.

This is a decent but very basic property. Everything worked fine. It was clean. Breakfast was okay but very basic. Note 1: Air conditioning is one of those noisy units contained within the room, not central A/C. Yes, it blows cold air, but quite noisy. Note 2: they advertise airport shuttle service but be aware that for return trips back to the airport they only go one time per hour.
