Signs everywhere for express check-in and check-out using QR code, phone, TV remote, calling from the room phone. None of these worked. I waited in an extremely long line at the front desk twice. The room was as expected, cleaning staff good. No luggage carts (and it's a long walk from self-parking to the front desk). I didn't want to pay $50 a day for valet. Many of the restaurants were not open and we were there for New Year's Eve. Easy walk to Allegiant Stadium if you're there for a game. Mandalay is at the far end of the strip, so be prepared to walk to the center of town (or an Uber or taxi). The spa was not worth the money in my opinion. I couldn't even get out of the parking garage without in person assistance. Parking attendant was very helpful though. The parking stub and payment readers weren't working. Will choose a different hotel next time.

Mandalay really is the best place to stay. I have a 3 year old. This place has an aquarium, convenience store, so many wonderful restaurants for the whole family. It's clean, easy to navigate and you really don't have to leave.

Stay here for New Year’s celebration and upgraded to the stripe view and had an amazing time with the kids. The firework show was amazing and we saw all of it from our room. The variety of restaurants selections, shark reef, and starbucks on-site at this hotel is a plus. The reason I like staying here is with little kids, the tram helps with the walking from one hotel to the next. You can take the tram from here straight to Excalibur and walk easily to NY NY, MGM, and Planet Hollywood. Definitely, coming back in the summer time to use the pool.
