It always a blast being at the El Cortez. Shout out to Mr. Bluff was a honor getting to meet him and his friends. El Cortez is where the fun keeping on becoming fun!

The hotel rooms are of a newer renovation, with them looking older in style to capture an older era. The bathrooms are more modern. For me I prefer a door to separate the bathrrom from the room as in the middle of the night if you are sharing a room the person sleeping gets a bright light in their eyes. Staying on the North Side of the tower is recommended as the South Side faces clubs with loud music from 10 pm till 2 am.

We Won’t ever be back , totally not what we expected… Great Staff at reception station … But we weren’t looking for the dive we stayed in. The showers floor’s have mold growing on them… A little bleach goes a long way… Like I said, we won’t be back…

The water pressure in the shower was very poor. Had to move the nightstands to get to outlets for phone chargers. The room could use more or brighter lighting. Room was very clean and cutely decorated.

Overall Great Hotel.

Staff were very nice. Fixed an unplugged smoke alarm in my room promptly. Easy access to room from parking (if in the older section) and great view/open style balconies. Food could be better as was charged a lot for a Caesar salad. Hotel does have a strong odor used to possibly cover smoke smell up but only an issue for those that have asthma or some other type of illness. Recommend El Cortez for adults, both couples and solo travelers.

It’s fine for the price, but a little lacking in basics all the same (air conditioner was a little spotty, bad lighting). The style of the place is vintage vegas which is cool but the casino is a confusing mess (trying to withdraw cash or get your free drink is a nightmare!! ). Also the maid service entered my room at 9 am and woke us up despite the do not disturb sign being out, which really added to the feeling that they were just trying to get guests in and out as fast as possible and were not looking to give us a great stay

Check in was confusing sapphire tried so hars. I lost 2 100 dolla r bills in the game area to left of front desk. Coffee pot broken, door to room even dead bolted still opend reported tofront drsk and no amswer 7 times.wake up call laye and o ly pleasant yhing was the shuttle.driver. there was a lady behind desk sleeping.

walking distance to Freemont experience and food. valet and self-parking were good. the hotel was a couple blocks to Vegas Blvd north of the strip. They service the room every day. The restaurants in the hotel are pretty good as well.
