Room was filthy. Definitely had to check for bed bugs. Reeked like old cigarettes and mildew. Crackheads yelling outside the window all night. Literally spent 300 a night for trash amenities and service

I liked the location and easy access to Fremont. The hotel is older but, for the price, was clean and secure. I was disappointed that in the 4 days we stayed, we did not get housekeeping service at any time - no fresh towels, no removal of trash, no new shampoo, no daily water or coffee pods. I would have assumed that the resort fee included at least this as a minimum. I would stay again if the price was significantly less than other options, but likely would not be my first choice given that the housekeeping was a big fail.

Our rooms were clean and quiet. Appreciated the entry was locked at all times and we used our bracelets to get in. If you love Freemont Street, this is the place to stay

The first time we stayed at El Cortez is was good so we returned. This second time was horrible. They have us room that was on the outside and as we were walking up to the room door, it was filthy. The bathroom was very dirty. I as a guest had to clean the toilet
