There were no washcloths in the bathroom, but they provided them as soon as we asked. The fun books in the room were not new. There were pages torn out. Probably left by previous occupant and housekeeping didn't replace them with new ones

We loved our admittedly short stay at South Point, but it will now be a target destination for the future in Vegas. The room was spacious, and everything stocked as advertised (almost every place we've stayed in the past several years required multiple calls to housekeeping to replenish stuff that should have been done already, like coffee pods, or towels, or tissue, TP, etc.). From this experience, the hotel is well managed, clean, just a great place to stay and enjoy Las Vegas!

It depends what you're looking for. It's off-strip with many locals and overall older crowd. It has a clean, pleasant atmosphere which was such a welcome escape from the glitzy hype and over-advertising on the strip. A real no-B.S. place for an enjoyable getaway. We liked the dining options (including 24 hour coffee shop with breakfast available at all hours). Reasonable prices and good service. The casino floor was large and there was live music and a number of shows available. Notably, there was no "night club". Again, it depends what you're looking for. As far as we're concerned, this casino really understands the Vegas experience that so many vacationers are looking for, and we most certainly WILL be back. Thank you South Point!

Upon check-in, I told the front desk that I would not need maid service. On check-out day, approximately 2.5 hours before posted check-out time, as I was not dressed and packing to leave, maid service simply barged into my room unannounced. She apologized and immediately left. Management refunded my resort fees, but offered no apology and told me I should have used the "Do Not Disturb" sign... Bad form.
