Less cutbacks. Since we started coming in 2018 the lazy river is now closed in the winter, hottub no longer 24 hours and only one shuttle drop with the last pickup at 8:15 from the strip. Resort fees aren’t going down but the amenities that attract us to Tahiti Village are diminishing.

Room is just ok - no table to sit and have a meal - just an odd counter top. Hot and cold knobs are switched in the bathroom causing us to get burned. No working lazy river and no notification that it was not working. I got this reservation for the lazy river specifically. Big disappointment. Only tiny portion of the pool was open - cold water - there is no way it was warmed up to 85 degrees as they claimed - much colder - we could not swim. Very ugly view from the balcony - some sort of abandoned empty space with containers and loud noise - very unpleasant. The rooms were dark. The whole Atmosphere was not of a tropical Tahiti. Also; parking lot was extremely far from the room and there were no luggage carts available when we arrived. Very unpleasant. Uncomfortable mattresses and couch for sleeping. Our family member could not sleep well at all.

I got the 2 standard room & love it! The best part of the stay is the steam shower & the jetted tub. The kitchen is very clean & equipped with pots, pans, plates, glasses & silverwares. No need to bring anything for cooking except for the things you want to cook. We were there in the winter & we’re not able to use the pool. I’m sure my family will enjoy it if it wasn’t too cold to dip in the pool. Excellent place to stay with family.
