Very good

Everything started off great. Check in crew was awesome. We had a beautiful room with a pool view. Our last day (Mother’s Day) right after I got out of the shower I heard water pouring in the kitchen. I go look and there is what I think was black looking grey water backing up in our kitchen sink and pouring all over the kitchen and quickly spreading to the whole room. We had not been using the sink or dishwasher but they were doing construction on a different wing of our floor. We called the front desk and they seemed unconcerned and told us they didn’t have any other rooms, understandable but my husband had to argue with them them that we can’t stay in a flooded room. Finally they called back and offered to move us to the whole opposite end of the resort. We threw everything in our bags and evacuated. Left some of our stuff behind because it was sopping in black water from who knows where.
Our new room was a major downgrade. No view, right next to the road, bottom floor, rooms looked way more beat up and dated and people smoking weed and cigarettes all over and the smoke coming into the room. I got a text asking if our problem had been resolved and I said no. They just closed the inquiry without reaching out to make sure the new room was ok, no offer to comp us for the night…nothing. Then I kid you not this room flooded the morning we were checking out. This time it was what we think was a leaking sink and not dirty water coming up out of the pipes from who knows where.
Getting into the property was very secure. The room needed to be cleaner. There was a fishy smell in the kitchen. We found a cockroach in the dishwasher. There were hair balls in the restroom. There was also construction on our floor which took away from the experience.
I felt like I was back home on Kauai!! Alohi checked me in and her gracious spirit comes from her roots on Molokai. Caleb helped over phone to keep me in same room for my entire 4-night stay, mahalo for that! Everyone was great I loved the pools, the amenities, the location was awesome!!

Disliked: Cleanliness
The guest room seemed dirty. Furniture stained, couch and chair. bathroom has missing light bulb over sink.
All 3 tvs in the condo did not work properly. Never any towels at the hot tub. Room was only cleaned once a week. Cashless property.
Added on 15% to use vouchers given by the resort.
We enjoyed all the available Restaurants on Resort as well within walking distance 😀
My wife really enjoyed Her day of shopping at the factory outlets!!
The biggest treat is the Resort Staff!!
Alohi was my check in receptionist and had so much aloha I felt like Kamaaina in Vegas! So kind and respectful!! Caleb was supervisor who assisted me on phone when I needed to add another night and I was able to stay in same room all 4 nights after I made 3 separate reservations; mahalo for the accommodation!! Tahiti Village Resort is like our Koloa Landing on Kauai; beautiful lazy river pool, main pool area had sandy area for our Keiki. Lots of grilling stations, volleyball, corn hole, ping pong all in outside areas around the property. Awesome family vacation spot! Nice arcade on property too! I can’t believe I hadn’t stayed here before, I’ll only stay here when I’m in Vegas now!!

Hotel offers rooms on 3rd party sites that do NOT match the description or pictures of the rooms issued at the time of checkin. For example. I booked and paid for a 2 bedroom suite on a 3rd party website, but was checked into a 1 bedroom. When I inquired about the sudden room mix up, I was told this regularly happens to guests who book through 3rd party websites. The hotel shifted the blame to the website, stating the 3rd party website only reserved a 1 bedroom and that I would have to take it up with the 3rd party…. The 3rd party (Expedia.com) has refused to provide a refund of the difference of the room rate that I actually paid for vs the room the hotel issued. The hotel refused to honor my 2 bedroom booking. I was duped into paying the price of a 2 bedroom suite for a standard-priced room. The biggest problem is I planned my wedding around this property, and 2 of my wedding guests experienced the same disparity with no recourse. These are deceptive business practices on both parties and the guests are being scammed by the hotel selling rooms that “do not exist”.
The room had lots of broken things. They had to bring us a new lamp because one did turn on. The armoire with the tv would not slide open. The coffee machine would close properly. The tub filled with water when you showered because the drain plug was broken in two. The cabinet door under the kitchen sink was broken and just closed, so you couldn't tell it was broke until you opened it. For the amount of money we paid the place was kinda dumpy.
