Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
We had a two day stay half board. The breakfast and dinner were very good value with a good choice of food. The room was very tidy and clean with a good view out of the window.
Didn’t have time to use the spa facilities that looked amazing. Maybe next time.
Awful room. Overpriced. Not clean. Nice staff but they don’t make up for the state of the hotel. Breakfast adequate but waited a while for items to be replenished. Would not stay again. Sad state of a beautiful building.

The hotel exudes an atmosphere of faded grandeur. Accessibly is a major issue in virtually every part of the hotel. Especially the front entrance where the presence of the temporary ramps on a very regular basis creates a serious trip hazard. The staff find it demanding to deal with guests who rely on mobility scooters. Maintenance is an issue regarding decoration and squeaky floors. Cleaning is not always done behind furniture. The food was very good and plentiful and the restaurant staff were wonderful . Reception staff were always welcoming and helpful. The building requires major renovations but this would be a very large and expensive undertaking. Location was good for the BIC .

"No cocktails" at the bar without explanation or apology.
Extractor in bathroom did not work. Difficult to dry and use mirrors.
2 coffee sachets, 2 water bottles and 2 biscuits for a 2 day stay.
Peeling and waterstained wallpaper in room.
Beautiful units day now old rundown, needs upgrading. No porters to help with luggage and assistance finding your bedroom in such a huge place
Having to vacate room early 10am. Staff no smiles or friendliness.
Annoying scam type “hotel”. No reception or any humans at all. Cold uncomfortable decor, some kind of prison style bs shower where you have to hold down a button to make it work, annoying to get into and basically a sh**ty room with no facilities. So f***ing expensive. Total waste of time, wish we stayed at a local family run bnb. You just know the money from this place is being siphoned off to some real estate mogul sitting in a high rise in Dubai. Totally rubbish do not waste your money here.
Doesn’t matter what room or option you take, the place is dated and there is no sense of luxury.
Booked a suite, but honestly, not worth it. Just avoid this hotel if you are looking for anything other than a roof over your head.
They don’t service the rooms during your stay anymore either due to ‘policy update’… which policy is that? The don’t spend money on guests policy?

Staff were extremely polite and helpful. In a busy hotel, my sleep was undisturbed and comfortable. Would go back again
Parking none on site valet parking £25 per night swimming pool advertised but £5 a day with towels £1 a visit to pool . Meals pretty average vegetables mushy and overdone . Decoration dated needs refreshing in bedrooms. . Same deserts 3 days running
This property is in the perfect location for the beach. It was some lovely features with a lush garden, pool area and old style bar. Staff were helpful. The hotel is in desperate need of a refurb
