The location of this boutique hotel is perfect! The decor is up to date, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast, which is included, was well stocked and replenished through the operating hours. Highly recommend you consider this hotel.

The hotel itself was very clean, and overall definitely a pleasant stay! However the environment, obviously being downtown, was definitely a little nerve wracking walking back to our room at night. My only other complaint would be the soundproofing- as in absolute zero…. Every sound from other rooms and hallways was audible. This is understandable with it being an old hotel, but it still hurt the ambience a bit. If you’re looking for a clean bed to sleep in with great proximity to everything you need, this is place for you. There are a couple qualms with it, but nothing that would 100% dissuade me from staying here again.

Room was clean, spacious and comfortable for 3 adults. Many restaurants nearby and 2 blocks walk to the lakefront. Staff were friendly. The continental breakfast was varied, fresh and more than enough to get your day going. We should stay here again for sure.

Pros: The location of this hotel is perfect. Walkable to restaurants, shopping, bars and the beach. I found our room and all common areas to be very clean. The staff was friendly. Cons: The free hotel parking is very limited. There is metered parking and a pay for parking lot next to the hotel. If you are a light sleeper you may want to use the free earplugs found in the room as it was a little noisy at night. Small price to pay for the great location.

Only spent one night but had a pleasant stay. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Free parking nearby (the hotel parkade was full). Staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, good variety. Lots of great dining options on the same street. Only downside of my stay was that the room was on the street side (a bit loud in the evening) and across from the elevator (you can hear the elevator going up and down all evening and in the morning).

The room was ok but the bench had stains on it . The parking which is available is terrible. Parking in an alley with drugged out street people I found very unsafe. I wouldn't stay there again .

It would be nice if they had some type of meat for breakfast. Our ceiling was falling down in the bathroom and we had some issues with the TV. It’s a great location and the balcony and parking is just a bonus.
