The price was very good. The location is wonderful. If price and location are your top priorities, this is perfect. The building itself is in good repair and our room was very clean. The mattress needs to be replaced. The building and the room are pretty outdated - but completely understand that updating would mean much more expensive rooms.

Hotel is run down and needs refreshing. Carpets are old and extremely dirty, mattresses are very out dated and uncomfortable

Really friendly staff and a fantastic location for Stanley park and the coastline. There are plenty of restaurants in the area but also a kitchen if you want to fix your own food. We enjoyed our stay here.

The location is excellent, right by the beautiful English Bay and a quick walk to Stanley Park. The hotel is fairly basic, but just fine. Nice to have a bath, not just a shower.

The area of the property is great, right by the water in the west end. The main issue is the age of the building and how it is maintained. It is extremely old and dingy, the corridors will give you the creeps. The room was very large and even had a small kitchen which was nice, all the paint on the walls and the carpets/ceiling could get some love. I couldn't shower since only the bath faucet was in working condition and not the shower head. The small A/C was working well and the TV had SHAW cable, my room was right on the Denman street with a nice view but the noise wasn't bad enough for me not to sleep. I decided to sleep over the sheets since I assumed the bed would be in the same condition as the room, bed was comfortable. Location is really the only reason to come here, $215 for one night in the middle of the week is pretty steep, especially when the parking is $20 for a day, which is more than other local parking spots.
