Poor and unprofessional handling of a booking error. I searched for and intended to book the Pinnacle Hotel North Vancouver, which had availability, and that is the location where we checked in and are staying. After arrival, we realized Expedia showed the reservation as the downtown Vancouver Pinnacle instead. The North Vancouver front desk staff indicated this should not be an issue and that the booking could be moved or corrected. However, attempts to contact the downtown location were unsuccessful at the time, and the issue was not resolved. The downtown Pinnacle location is now aware of the situation, but has taken the position that we should still be double-charged, despite only staying at the North Vancouver hotel. This was a straightforward mistake that could have been easily fixed with basic coordination, but it was handled poorly and unprofessionally.

Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was far below expectations. The room was extremely noisy at night, making it difficult to get any rest. It also didn’t match the description or photos online — it felt outdated and noticeably dusty, which was disappointing. The restaurant was another letdown. During our visit, water was leaking from the ceiling in one corner, and when we moved our chair to avoid the drip, we found spider webs on the seat — clearly not well-maintained. Food options were very limited, and the breakfast buffet was particularly underwhelming in both quality and variety. Overall, this stay did not meet the standards I expected based on the listing. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes improvements.
