I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean, though a bit dated. As an Expedia Gold member, I appreciated the extra restaurant coupon, as well as the early check-in and late check-out. The gym is a good size, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The location is excellent—close to Gastown and very convenient for attending events at the Vancouver Convention Centre. I would happily stay here again.

The property did let me check in an hour early but when we got to the room the shower gel was out and the fan in the AC/Heat makes a loud clunking sound.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were very friendly. Thats where it ends. The hotel needs renovating badly. Those rooms were not worth what we paid by a long shot.

Quality of the food in the dining area was only fair. Main course dinner item was tasteless. Tables too close for breakfast, making meal uncomfortable as the waiters brushed by in inadequate space between tables. Rooms were worn, some equipment worn out. Example - black leather chair was broken, would not stay up. Not acceptable for a $500 to $600 per night room. I would not go back.

When i made this reservation, i thought i hit the jackpot based on the reviews. Once i arrived, front loby is busy, dirty, outdated, with bags and luggages all over. Very loud dining , lot of overwhelmed workers that constantly mention how much work they have, how busy it is. At check in, we were offered an upgrade for a cost, for a better view. We agreed, but i have no idea what the upgrade was. Seemed like a sales tactic. Rooms are horrid. So outdated. Not even a microwave !? Very old furniture, moldy, awful smell and over all, just outdated View. Sure , beautiful but i dont think the view makes up for how ugly the rooms are Not only the look dirty, they feel it too Seems like the hotel caters to older crowd, hundreds of them i assum because of the cruise. I would not recommend, i would not return.

Hotel is just around the corner from the cruise terminal and basically it is close to everything. Very convenient and the view is stunning. Stayed there for two nights and enjoyed it.
