The hot tub was foamy and there was dirt washing up over the edges from the inside. No hot water for hours (this was a hotel wide issue). The bathroom door was also difficult to open. View of the harbour was lovely. Room was okay - could definitely use some updates like the carpeting, wallpaper, etc.

The hot tub had bubbles and a ring of dirt around the edges which was gross. It was closed earlier in the day so youd think that it was for cleaning but didnt seem like it. Then went to shower off the feeling and there was no hot water. For the price of the room it was not worth it at all.

No concierge service in helping you plan out your day. All they did was try to sell you on the tours. For instance, Grouse Mtn: they gave us a brochure for a ridiculous amount of money. NEVER informed us that there was a free shuttle we could get and pay there without the up charge. A true concierge service would give you the best options and work with you.

The location is absolutely a 5 star property. The rooms are definitely dated; however they have plans to renovate and the rooms will be beautiful. Staff were so polite and welcoming. The water views were gorgeous. There is a parking garage but we found it to be a bit confusing to navigate and one day, the elevator to the hotel wasn’t working. It was actually cheaper and easier to park on the street (parking is free after 10 pm through 9 am) We had such a wonderful time in Vancouver and highly recommend the Pinnacle for your stay.
