The property was very nice and the staff were super friendly. The hotel is located directly next to the hospital, which means ambulance sirens going off most of the evening. Also, there are a lot of drug addicts that hang out in front of the hospital, which is very uncomfortable to walk by.

The room we had was large and clean but we had 3 people for 2 double beds and had to pay $30 per night and the room was stocked for 1-2 people. Parking was expensive at 25/night plus other hidden charges on our bill (translink pass) (major event charge??). The shower faucet was very difficult to get the right temperature and since our room was connected to a hot water heater, we had ticking sounds all through the night. Restaurant room service didn’t understand celiac (gluten allergy) so daughter was very sick for 2 days and couldn’t eat at the restaurant or coffee area. Matthew at the restaurant was awesome and Manager was friendly.

Check it was quick but the entire stay I didn't see any staff member smile (aside from one maid). When I got to my room the first time there was a bag of garbage and a room service tray in the hall way (both of which remained the entire day). One elevator was out of order, which I didn't expect to be an issue because there were 3 others, however many times I found myself waiting in a line up for 10-15 mins to get one. Elevators are important at this hotel as floors go up to approx 27ish. The long waits led to people overcrowding the elevators (above weight notices) and concierge nearby noticed but did nothing to enforce safety issues. The fire alarm went off my first morning there at around 7am. It was going off for about 10 mins and constantly announcing "do not leave your room, we're looking into it" which was anxiety inducing and stressful. After more time it was shut off and announced to be a "false alarm" but no further details or compensation was offered. Room was close to the hospital (the reason I was there) and there are a lot of amenities nearby that were great. If I was going alone again I would stay again, now that I'm prepared for what to expect, but wouldn't bring my family as there seem to be a lot of hotels in the area.

I didn’t like the elevator because from 4 elevator only 2 elevator were working. I love the view of the city from my room. Nice location for restaurants and shopping. The bed was big and very comfortable. My room was big and comfortable.

Nice location downtown with easy parking. But it’s very loud and there is virtually no sound insulation from the street. Rooms are spacious but carpets old are barely passable, water temperature was tricky, because of broken regulators. Room was ordered for 4 but supplied for 2.

Nice size room. A little dated and some things in need of repair. Refrigerator makes a loud clunking noise when the compressor shuts off. No AC unit in the bedroom, must make the living room very cold for the bedroom to be comfortable. Nice coffee shop attached to the hotel. Hotel restaurant is very expensive.

The staff were very friendly and it's in a great location, which is walkable to lots of restaurants and the venue I attended. Felt like a safer part of town which was a bonus as well. Room and hotel were very clean. Unfortunately they did not provide any cutlery in the suite so I had to eat my dinner with a spatula... the fire alarm also went off at 7am which kinda ruined my morning routine with a rude awakening. (Obviously not the hotels fault) Not a bad stay overall, but the cutlery thing was kind of weird considering they have a bunch of cookware in the unit, but nothing to eat with...
