Mediocre at best

Our recent stay at the Hotel Vancouver FAIRMONT was mediocre. The room itself was getting tired and in need of a fresh renovation. The ice machine was out of order and so was the one on the lower floor. The pool area was far below average for a hotel of this calibre. Overall our stay was alright but there is a ton of room for improvement. We will pass on this FAIRMONT on our next visit to Vancouver.

I reserved 3 separate rooms, none of which were ready at 2 pm so the front desk person told us we would get a text when the rooms would be ready. No texts arrived so we went back to the hotel at 430pm to still get a runaround. Not good service. Also the showers were broken and the TV in my son's room didn't work.

Wonderful stay, centrally located

We enjoyed our stay with fairmont gold. Food perks in the lounge were high quality, great service, friendly staff. Beds were great, slept like a baby. Nice amenities and pool. Good location, central. Shopping with lin hotel and right outside. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and short can away
