The room could’ve been cleaner, there were hairs still in the shower, smudges on the mirror and dust on the glass shelves. The breakfast was disappointing, although there was a lot to choose from, the scrambled egg and hash browns were cold. The staff were all lovely, warm and very helpful. Amenities in the room were top notch, comfy bed, small fridge, kettle and coffee maker only downfall was I booked a superior king room and bath robes weren’t included which I thought they were. Overall a good stay but room for improvement.

We came a few years ago and enjoyed ourselves so returned. Unfortunately, this trip wasn't as enjoyable. There wasn't the 'wow' Christmas tree like before and the breakfast wasn't so varied and servers lacking expected customer services standards; boardering on rude. The reception and housekeeping staff were polite and helpful. Unfortunately I'm unlikely to return.

We were staying at the Marriott over Christmas as we currently live in the US and were back visiting family. It was a shame that as of 24 Dec - and with no prior notice, the dinner menu was reduced drastically, removing a number of dishes that my wife - a coeliac who must have gluten free food, could have eaten which resulted in us having to rely on gluten free snack items (quiche and crisps) from Tesco.

Was quite pleasantly surprised after reading reviews on trip adviser. Room was nice bed comfy the bar was nice and food was nice. The only slightly little complaint was the bar service was a little bit hard getting service I think when the manager was on a break.
