The hotel is located in a really great place which is walking distance to Oxford, either along the river or main road. The room was large and clean. A bit of moisture damage to the bathroom door, but a big heated mirror. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and quality products.

Lovely facilities. V comfortable bed. Great breakfast staff! My only comment would be the front desk staff need some training…smile at the customer, tell the customer where their room is, tell the customer what time breakfast is and if it’s past of their reservation, tell the customer about the use of the pool and spa facilities. Very basic stuff?

Fab city and very convenient hotel. We parked in the park and ride which cost a fraction of the parking fee for the hotel. Lovely walk into Oxford watching the boat race.

Lovely hotel, and as I asked for a quiet room, I was given a room in an adjacent cottage, which was perfectly quiet. This room was exceptional, but unfortunately did not have a fridge, which meant i was drinking room temperature water which I dislike. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful, especially Eldhose. He was exceptional. Reception staff were more officious than friendly. I’m disappointed to say that a few minor hitches with technology, did make me irritated. Ie, having to continually get my card pre authorised at reception to make charges to my room, a broken card reader kept declining my card, causing discomfort. Parking added twice to my checkout bill. While packing my car up, my room card locked me out as it did not appreciate I had a late checkout, which was just another small irritation in the rain and in a cottage away from reception. Calling days later after checkout to have a pre authorised £50 charge on my credit card removed.

Smart, comfortable room. Lovely lighting choices, black out curtains. Main bed & sofa bed, very comfortable. Smelt very clean. Tea and other choices of drink, including biscuits. We could adjust heating of the room to our liking. Lovely spa facilities to make use of including pool, jacuzzi, steam & sauna room. Dinner and breakfast options fabulous. Tasty and well presented. Loads of parking in the grounds of the hotel. Wasnt aware of parking charge of £25 for one night, until after I booked.
