Compare Cheap Hotels in Cancun

Great hotel, great service, from the moment you arrive till you leave everyone is super friendly and helpful. The one thing that they need to improve on is on their food in the The Mexican restaurant, which should be the best of all has a very bad menu, and slow service. During the time I was there, waiting for my main course, since there wasn’t anything appealing in their entrees buffet, I didn’t see anyone stand up and get something. Two tables came and went, disappointed by the food. And my enchiladas, not worth the time I had to wait for them.

Room was very worn looking but decent size… the property places a cap on the AC in the rooms and it’s NOT cool enough!!! It was miserable… We were so hot the first night we thought the AC was broken and the fan didn’t work. We approached the front desk and there was nothing that they could do minus switching rooms. So we switched rooms at 3 AM. Again the AC was regulated but at least the fan in the ceiling worked. The rest of the staff were fantastic, especially the bartenders… The food was very bland and massively watered down… The beach was beautiful, but small. Unfortunately, there were only a handful of lawn chairs and even fewer umbrellas. This was the third Riu resort we have been to in Cancun and this one was by far the worst.

Don’t make this mistake. Go to a resort. Food and everything is expensive in cancun, and you won’t enjoy your trip
