Clean room, great staff & location was fantastic! Unfortunately got food poisoning on the last day. Food was also lackluster. Overall a great budget friendly resort if you’re not looking for great food.

Clean and staff very friendly, respectful and helpful. Food was great, especially the buffet. For some odd reason the shower smelled like sewage in AM. Unsure of that can be addressed, because one day it smelled pretty bad. Also wish there were more bathrooms on the property (especially in restaurants) with kids it’s a bit hard to have to leave places and walk to either lobby or pool bathrooms. But overall a pretty great place to stay.

The resort is beautiful and we loved our swim up suite. The food was not great. Drinks were not great either. Beach is very beautiful.

Pro: new building and clean and staff friendly and nice pool and nice beach Cons: this Riu do not offer babysitter. If you have young kids can not enjoy Riu party. Noise is another major issue with building and bikes and loud car keep waking everyone middle of night and upper level when someone walk you hear it. My kids waking up every night. People walking in hallways sound early comes to room. I stay 3 days and asked to transfer to Riu caribe No noise there and they have babysitting

Overall, I would give this resort a poor score. There is no room service. There is no mixed drinks unless you go to one bar in the lounge area and I had food poisoning from the food here the food sucks.

Room was huge. Great bang for buck. Food was decent for an all inclusive. Pools and beach were beautiful and well maintained. I’m a single guy who is not a fan of kids. There were families but nothing overwhelming, and they had an adults only pool a well. Would definitely go back.

The room was cleaned perfectly every day. The staff was always very helpful - although there was a language barrier that was frustrating at times. We were grateful for the bottles of water in the room. We were disappointed that there were only Pepsi products. The pools were lovely and the beach area was fantastic. The buffet was always well stocked and the food was good. We would have liked a few snacks in the bar area such as cookies or sweet snacks. Overall a great vacation spot!
