The room was clean and spacious with the view of the ocean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They treat guests with the utmost respect. The food needs a lot of improvement.

To begin we didn’t feel welcome at the check in process and for the most part except for a few staff members we didn’t feel that they care to provide genuine service. We had come at least 4 times to the GR Solaris and this time the food and service was awful, there is no drinks nor food service at the beach area like it use to be before and at the pool area we always had to look for servers if we needed something, as for the restaurants we noticed almost the same type of food every day, there is almos not sea food except for a few times we saw fish but for a place near the sea it is really awful that they do not offer real seafood choices. Our room was always clean and very well taken care of, it is ridiculous that in order to make a reservation on any of the “upscale” restaurants you have to download the GR Solaris App which I think is intrusive and unnecessary. In a few activities we felt left out due to been activities for Associates “Time share holders” only. I have to recognize a few people only that unfortunately I didn’t get their names but they were very helpful and kind and showed genuine respect and help. The lady manager at the buffet, the host from the Oriental restaurant, the host from the Mexican restaurant and the ladys on the guest services right next to where the make coffees with burning alcohol as well as the lady that makes the omelets at the buffet! Thank you for your great service.

The location was spectacular, the hotel was very clean and beautiful. The food was delicious but the drinks were not good. The bartenders need more training in preparing mix drinks

The rooms were clean. We had some issues with washrooms but overall were functional. The pools were clean and not crowded. Beach was nice and not crowded as well, albiet small. Enjoyed our stay.

As a VIP member of Expedia we were told we received a room upgrade when in fact my son booked through Expedia and a friend who booked through a different site each had bigger rooms with a better view. Otherwise we had a very nice time

The facility / grounds were very clean. The process of making a reservation for the restaurants was confusing. The portions and quality of food at restaurants was not worth the time. The buffet was excellent. I would recommend giving a schedule of events/ open times of restaurants upon check in.
