The dance show was great. The other shows needed more work. The DJ did not play a variety of music for all guests. The food was good for an all-inclusive resort; however, it lacked variety. The rooms were great. I received a bottle of wine and a bed decorated.

I CAN NOT say enough about how AWESOME our anniversary get away was at GR Solaris. We've stayed at several resorts over the years. None have made me feel this welcomed or comfortable. There currently under remodel but it not once disrupted out stay. 10 out of 10 recommend 💯🎊🎉❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

There were definitely amazing things, however there is construction going on and there is no ocean view at the moment due to boards they have put up and no front pool. The pool and hot tub closes at 7. Not to enjoyable to lay at the pool and hear hammers and equipment all day. The sheets were ver scratchy and beds were not comfortable. However the staff did a great job making your vacation enjoyable.

There was so much construction going on, we didn’t even get a notice that there would be. One pool was closed so there was only two pools to swim in.. but worse of all, they had a wall put up (to block the construction area) so you couldn’t even see the ocean from the outside area! The hot tub was murky. They close the pool at 7pm!!! Who doesn’t want to swim after 7pm??? There was so much sargassum on the beach, you had to walk over a giant pile of it to get into the ocean water. The toilet in our room didn’t flush right. And to top it off, the smoke alarm went off at 2am. I will not be staying here again and will not recommend to any of my friends or family. We drive around and there were soooo many better hotels to stay at! Do not choose GR Solaris!

Staff are very friendly. The checkin staff are a little lacking. They seem bothered when asked questions im sure they are asked all the time. The quality of the food is not good. Im not sure if this is the hotel or Cancun in general. None of the food we ate in or out of the hotel was very good. The coffee is not good which is a bummer. It tastes like instant coffee The hotel needs a major upgrade. It is dated and in of a refresh. Lots if cracked flooring, stains on the walls and ceilings, windows are dirty on the 6th floor. Smells like mild or mildew throughout the hotel. The nightly shows were the best part if the stay.

Half the resort is under construction, I wouldn’t book if this was shared beforehand. Had to endure the construction noise for my whole stay, kids pool, and one of the adults pull is closed. Had a room next to me play LOUD music at 11pm and the hotel staff said that they couldn’t do anything about it, and wouldn’t change my room. Food was ok, but boring.

The hotel wasn't too busy but was great in all aspects, the pools were adequately cleaned and the food and drink service was delivered to a great standard. I would suggest putting out hash browns more often at breakfast if available to you. The lady at the egg station was fantastic!
