Nice resort. Rooms are dated (some are renovated apparently) and housekeeping was spotty - some days our used glassware wasn’t removed and we weren’t restocked. Our fridge was left open 6 out of the 9 days we were there. Likes: the spa was amazing, very expensive but worth it. Great shows and nightlife. The food was generally very good. Spice was our favourite with The Grill a close second - and we are foodies. Pool service was consistently good. Not so great: alcohol and cocktails were terrible. Often undrinkable unless you ordered something super simple. Watered down and no to shelf available unless you are Excellence. I even wondered if they replaced the half decent with cheap.

I can not say how much we loved our stay at Excellence Playa Mujeres!! The service is top notch. Every single staff member was such a pleasure and accommodating from check in to check out. We have stayed at the Jamaica location twice before and were equally happy. We will be returning to another location for sure on our next vacation. Thank you so much Excellence for another Amazing experience.

Rooms good. Staff excellent. Martini bar amazing and great spa. Wish the VIP excellence rooms and area was monitored more. A lot of people in our area that didnt belong so it was a party everyday..... all day in front of our room. Very loud.

The room was beautiful the food was excellent but it is the service that brings us back each year. The staff is so OUTSTANDING! We have visited in Dec 2021 and Jan 2024 and this time in Jan 2026 was our third time. Even if there are clouds there is sunshine at EPM!!! The staff goes out of thier way to make the time SPECIAL!!!! they will do little things --like put flowers on your table or know you like a particular desert and save you the LAST ONE ! I They know if it is your last day at the resort and will do somethings special for you! The staff is so wonderful!!!! We will be back ! There are prettier places --but the service--that is what sets this resort apart from others
