The staff was amazing and super attentive. I would have given a 5 if the hotel didn’t smell like sewage in certain areas. It seemed like they tried to compensate for the smell by spraying perfume everywhere. My wife was covering her nose most the day. To be clear, you come to the tropics to be outside so we still had an amazing experience.

Live Aqua was absolutely beautiful. The resort was spotless, the staff was genuinely kind and attentive, and the butler service was outstanding. The food was enjoyable, the beach was clean and stunning with very little seaweed, and the overall vibe was peaceful and relaxing. Perfect for an older crowd or anyone wanting a calm, non-party atmosphere. Truly a lovely experience we can’t wait to return.

This resort is absolutely amazing. It’s the perfect destination for adults seeking a peaceful escape filled with bliss and beauty. The resort as a whole is lovely, however my partner and I got a strain of ecoli (confirmed by a lab test when we came home) from something we ate or drank at the hotel. We both were extremely careful not to drink the water and even used bottled water to brush our teeth so we are not sure what caused food poisining. Half or more of our trip was spoiled by this. Anther issue we had was that the shower leaked into the bathroom and when I reported this they just came to clean up. We were not in a physical state to move around much and be without a restroom so we did not press this.

I had an excellent stay at Live Aqua Cancun - Adults Only. Everything about the resort was thoughtfully done and ideal for rest and relaxation. The food was outstanding, the drinks were excellent, and the service was truly exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I especially enjoyed the cabanas, which I highly recommend, and the heated pool was a major plus. The amenities were excellent. All NFL games were available at the bar, which was a nice touch. The spa experience was amazing, including the hydrotherapy circuit and the massage I received, which was one of the best I’ve had. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely comfortable staying on the resort the entire time and did not feel the need to leave. Everything I wanted was right there, and I felt safe and well cared for. The only downside to an otherwise perfect stay was the sales pressure. I did not appreciate being upsold on a future stay or receiving a call at 8:30 AM on a Sunday inviting me to a sales meeting. That interrupted the peaceful, relaxing experience I was there for. That said, I would absolutely stay here again and do plan to return. It is a beautiful, relaxing resort and I hope future visits remain focused on rest rather than sales.

Food was mediocre. The only great restaurant had close to an hour wait most nights. Our room was noisy from down below at the bar. The service was very spotty. The resort was immaculately clean, and people are kind.

Great room, super comfortable bed, great staff, lovely pool and beach. Our room was immaculate, we enjoyed our balcony and the beautiful views. Every staff member we met was polite and friendly. They were happy to help in any way and did fantastic work.
