The not so good - We enjoyed everything but the check in process. We arrived at 11:30 am but were not able to check into our room until 4:00. We also were in a room next to the event space where there was a wedding and the next morning, they were loud cleaning it up around 7am. The good - Food was actually really good. We enjoyed the food at Punta Vista and Asiana restaurants. They had special days of outdoor grilling by the pool like paella, tacos and burgers. We were always able to get a complimentary cabana on the beach but poolside we had to pay because we were not getting up early to save one of the few free ones. 20 min from the airport, staff is super friendly and they have some cool planned activities worth checking out (whiskey and chocolate tasting). The room was clean, pillows comfortable and loved the hammock on the balcony!

The staff here was UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING!! I travel a lot and I’ve never had such genuine, attentive service in my life. Saul was especially kind at our check in and check out. The rooms were clean and all face the ocean! There was fun entertainment every night and the food was delicious! We will be back next year!

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, anywhere. They have friendly staff, gorgeous pool and beach area; stunning ocean views from the rooms; rooms are well-decorated and comfortable, mine had a jacuzzi; great food options with several high-quality restaurants.

The food was fantastic. Property was very clean. Service was great. Liquor, except wine was great. I would strongly suggest a better wine for inclusive package. Entertainment was great. Had a great experience.

I would absolutely return due to the service of the staff. They are friendly and generous. I do wish the seating in the restaurants was more flexible for larger groups. I can't wait to see the property after renovation. My only recommendation would be for a light late night buffet/restaurant option- 11:30pm-1:00am. Great trip!

Best Underrated Resort Ever!

I am a frequent traveler to the Caribbean, South America, Europe and the U.S., and in all my experiences, no resort has come close to the experience I experienced at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun! The duty of care put into each event and guest experiences should be studied! I do not believe the guests that stayed during my stay appreciated the experience that the staff provided! Mauri, Alberto, Mateo, Victor and Ernesto provided top notch services for the pool and cabana service! Victor went above and beyond and we were so appreciative of him! Carmillo's hibachi performance was out of this world and so entertaining! The concierge ladies and Rosa Rueda provided exceptional check-out services and made it hard for us to want to leave! Lastly, Evelin Garcia is such an asset to this resort, she was hands on and ensured quality and care was given to us and for that I will onl come back if she is still there!
