The hotel and room (master suite ocean view) were very nice. However, there are not enough beach or pool chairs at the property to accommodate all guests and the hotel doesn’t enforce “no chair holding.” We were there for 5 days and never managed to get a chair by the pool despite going out no later than 9am. This was frustrating. Luckily the beach is beautiful and we had better luck finding chairs there though usually by 11am those were fully taken and many guests had to sit on the sand. Restaurants were standard for an AI- the picanha at the steakhouse and the osso bucco at the Italian were particularly good. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This resort wasn’t what I expected. The reviews on website were deceptive. The food was average. If a person needs a chair in shade forget it. Yes they had umbrellas…that we could only use til 2pm. There are good things, the room/beds and deck were amazing.

I have been to a few all inclusives in Cancun. I’ll compare my experiences to this one. Check-in wasn’t great. We stood in line for at least 20 to 25 minutes just to check in. I noticed several others were offered champagne upon arrival, but we were not. I would say the target audience for this hotel is for couples and for individuals in their 60-70s. There definitely wasn’t a lot of friend groups. Pool chairs were gone by 7:30 so go down early in the morning if you want to sit by the pool. Compared to other all-inclusives I have stayed at this one didn’t seem to have very many activities. Pros: Rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was very good and had lots of options. The steakhouse was also delicious but get there early because there will be a wait. Wait staff around the pool were very good about keeping your drinks full. The live music that they offered was very good. Morning yoga was wonderful!

Room was very clean and large! Loved the spa experience & all the staff was very friendly- the only thing I will say is there are not enough on site restaurants to accommodate the number of people and the food wasn’t that great. They need more gluten free options. Sad but the best meal we had was a hamburger by the pool and the in room dining we had for breakfast.

The location is great & the resort is modern and pretty. All the staff are friendly and very accommodating. The restaurant serving the breakfast buffet daily was wonderful. The only downsides were the extremely long waits for dinner at the steak grill restaurant and the Italian restaurant. The steak restaurant was enjoyable and food was good , but we did not care for the Italian restaurant. We waited well over an hr. Unless you get there before 6 for opening or dine late at 8:00 or after, you’re gonna have to wait. No reservations are taken. The pools were nice & pool service was good, but the availability of lounge chairs was iffy and crowded. However, the pool concierge was fantastic on finding chairs and setting them up for you. He was awesome! There are 3 pools close together but not huge and there is no swim up bar, which we would enjoy. Our room was very clean & had a slight ocean view but did not have a tub. Shower only, although it was large & water was hot. The last night we had a group of girls in the room beside us that came in laughing and loudly talking at 4:00 am and they were still making lots of noise at 6:00 am. It sounded like they were in our room. Their room was actually adjoined by a door to ours. That was not a good experience. I called The front desk finally, but it didn’t help. They were not considerate and kept laughing and yelling. I would’ve liked some shops in the resort, but there is only one very small gift shop area. I give resort a B-

Food is great, breakfast buffet and lunch buffet particularly amazing. Steak at the blue water restaurant is delicious. Shawarmas at olio are great, so is the falafel. Pools are great and beach is fantastic. Overall I really enjoyed my second stay here, felt taken care of for sure. On my last day had a bit too much to drink and staff took very good care of me.

It was our first visit to Secrets the Vine. We loved the stay and I got nothing to complain. Room service was amazing.

The rooms, water pressure, having hot water, having a working AC/Heater Upon check in, they had to point out that we booked through expedia which means that we weren't eligible for certain offers of the hotel. That made us feel uncomfortable already. Almost as if because we booked through expedia, the room we got assigned to was in a poor condition. Water pressure of the shower and sink sucked, no hot water, AC and heater did NOT work. It was freezing cold in the room. Our room also did not have a touch tablet/ipad which forced us to download the app to order room service. Also, water was all over the hallway due to some leakage. Poor look on the hotel. We requested for a room change because of all the issues. But even then, the new room had issues as well. The sockets were loose and also water leaked out of the shower room into the toilet room. Water was everywhere in the room. Water in the hallway was also persistent on the new floor as well. Overrall, the experience at this hotel was poor and was not worth the money I paid for.

They are clean rooms. The staff is nice plenty of amenities plenty of restaurants and beach was nice
