THE AC DOESNT WORK PROPERLY

This hotel was so uncomfortably hot. We would get back from a long day of being out in the sun and excursions to cool down and it was just not cooling down in the room. They said because the wether was so hot but you would think at night it would cool down a bit but it stayed the same. We sweated the whole night. Unacceptable for a resort in my opinion. We even tried leaving early from our trip cause we were so miserable but there was not enough seats on the plan for our family so we just stayed one extra night. I honestly would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family.

After going to a senses riviera maya and seeing how poorly managed it was coming to Westin was a welcomed surprise they are absolutely amazing

Constant remodeling which made it inconvenient to get around and access all the amenities the resort offers. Very overpriced at the restaurants they offer and the food was average. The time share crew will harass you and would offer you bogus things to get you to sign a timeshare deal. The workers were very courteous and very nice. Pool is very shallow and you can’t really go in the beach.

We brought enough pesos to pay up front, but this is a cashless resort. When traveling internatinally we are weiry of putting our credit/debit cards on file, so we like to pay in cash. We did not know it was a cashless resort. It made it difficul to eat on the resort. Also, it is not beachfront, there is a huge wall/ drop off. The pics show palapas and chairs on the beach, they are not they are perched high on a wall.

Nice hotel on the beach. We stayed 2 nights and loved the ocean view from pool. Food was afford able and tasty. Beach front is small but water is beautiful

It looked like there were renovations going in and rooms had been painted recently. Allies and rooms smelled of fresh paint to the point that it was not easy to breathe.

I was expecting the Marriott experience but I ended with a seaside motel experience. There are apparently 2 buildings in this hotel. Allan initially gave me a room at the second building which is outside the hotel premises and I mean you have to come out of the primary hotel building to access it. They say it’s more private side but it’s a dumpster. The moment we went in, I said heck No, I didn’t pay over $135 per night to come stay in an abandoned 1 star motel. The end exit door looked like it was falling apart, there were dead bees all over the balcony, the bathroom looked like it was made in 1880 and no Reno has been done since, the next room I was assigned was better but also dilapidated. The bathroom leaks, and looks really old and patched up. There are apparently 3 tiers of rooms in this hotel. The nice, the ok and the terrible. The nice is newly renovated I assume, the ok is where I later stayed and the terrible is the dumpster second building. Wouldn’t pay more than $10 a night if assigned to that building

The first thing they did is to call you at your earliest opportunity they will call every day, but not to check how is your staying, I take some pictures just to make sure that other people know! the room is so dirty is so dusty all over, they don’t clean the floors. I don’t recommend this place
