Fantastic family friendly resort. The food, beverage, and staff were all better than expected given the price point. The condition of the facilities is the only drawback. There are noticeable improvements needed. Royal Solaris itself was noisy with thin walls, doors, ant self slamming doors. All that said, I recommend for a budget and family friendly experience. Food was better than expected!

I stayed at the Royal Solaris hotel from March 13 to March 18, 2025, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. On March 17, 2025, around 5:50 PM, after returning to the hotel and finding my room key card had stopped working, I went to the front desk to request a replacement. The front desk staff member was not only unprofessional but also outright disrespectful. Despite providing my ID, they refused to issue a new key card and denied me access to my room. This was a blatant disregard for basic customer service, and the behavior of the staff was completely unacceptable. It’s clear that this hotel cares very little about its guests. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs. It’s a rip-off, and the lack of professionalism and courtesy made my stay unpleasant. This experience was more than frustrating—it was disgusting. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for accommodations. You deserve better treatment.

Overall the place is well kept and clean! Loved that they had an area for kids . The beach was lovely. Waves but water was super warm.Food was ok , not terrible but would like to see more authentic Mexican food. Only thing is that there is an app to make reservations for the restaurants and no one informed me at check in so I wasn’t able to dine in the two restaurants that required reservations.

My husband & I loved this hotel, for our 2nd time in Cancun The staff was exceptional. The food was fabulous. We got a couples massage together. It was amazing. This is a family hotel. There are a lot of kids at this hotel, and in the swimming pool areas. That did not bother us. While staying at this hotel, we also had full access to the hotel next door. The pools, the buffets, the restaurants. It made us feel special. The view from our room was spectacular. For the price, this hotel was great. I can see why the price is a little lower than most, because of the Beach. It is beautiful, but there are rocks and red flags. You can not swim in it near by, you have to walk a little further down to the hotel beach spot (with yellow flags). I would stay at this hotel again, if I was on a budget. The hotels down the beach from this one are not good, I would not want to stay at them. My husband & I took a walk down the beach, and I am glad I did not choose them. These hotels are less expensive for a reason. Keep that in mind when choosing a hotel.

My family and I enjoyed a week at this resort and all the staff is wonderful and polite. We got treated like royalty. The pool area is beautiful. Access to the beach is right past the pool area and beautiful. I will definitely be returning.
